In this blog I am going to talk about a social media called: Whatsapp, this application is one of the most popular, this app is the first one that people download when the get a phone, with this app you can send messages, make calls, videochats, send voice messages, etc. Is a really effective app to stay in touch and to organize things with a group of people.

 Ahead of its time

When Whatsapp was launched in the year 2009, it was unique of its kind, which means it was ahead of its time, for example, Skype was there at the moment, but you could only use it with a PC.

Compatibility

Whatsapp is compatible with iOS, Android, Blackberry OS and Windows Phone

Best alternative to SMS

Whatsapp really helped this problem because people hated the price of sending SMS text, because its major flaw was that it was expensive and very limited,
