They’d come to Camelot for Mary to meet a potential future husband. Elizabeth was too young for such things but had been brought along for the experience. Which was why Kat found herself out in the gardens chasing after her young charge. Giggles filled the space as she rounded a corner and scooped up the young girl in her arms. 

Their laughter died down though when they saw the king, Arthur, approaching them. Setting Elizabeth back down, they both lowered into a curtsy of greeting. “Good afternoon, your majesty. My apologies, we didn’t see you there. I hope we haven’t disturbed you.” 

                    𝐀𝐍 𝐎𝐃𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐓𝐎 wander in the gardens of Camelot’s Palace and hear the joyous giggle of a child. It filled Arthur with a sense of longing that he had yet to experience. Drawn to the sound, the King followed it ; a caring journey with hunter’s ears.

He easily dismissed the female’s apologies with a polite wave of hand. ❝ Nay, not at all, milady. ❞ His gaze fluttered to the young Elizabeth, and he smiled softly. ❝ I thought I heard the giggles of faeries. Or, was it just YOU? ❞ Sweetly, he pressed the pad of his finger to the tip of Elizabeth’s nose.
