Sim: Daniel Lovejoy

I created this Sim as my first one since I deleted all my tray files. He’ll be one of the main characters now.

Daniel’s gonna be a Sim learning different skills. He’s a perfectionist, a bro and an erratic guy. Don’t worry, he’s not dangerous.

Cleared ‘Tray’ and ‘Saves’

Damn! I dislike this constant need of mine to look for “start overs”. I had been playing with a couple of families for a while, just fine, y’know, but today I cleared the ‘Tray’ and ‘Saves’ folders. I only kept two residential lots: The Millers, by iSandor; and Casablanca, by HappyLifeSims.

I will begin to create new households and new lots, instead of recycling and modifying old material. The Gallery items I uploaded will remain there.

MRSIMULATE MX

I’m very glad to introduce MRSIMULATE MX. He’s been recently created in TS4 to pose as my avatar. 

I really enjoyed creating him, choosing the genetics and picking the outfit. I’m happy with the final result. I still have my Sim self, though; but I decided to show someone very different to me as my icon.

Hello, again, my fellow Simmers! I have finally come up with a satisfying design for my new blog. That site is like this Simblr. Y’know, posts about TS4, city games, Second Life, and others, but without content limitations. I’ll show the occasional NSFW pic, hehe.

I’ve had this idea since I found out that Tumblr had put restrictions on what to post, but I hadn’t done it until now. I tried in two platforms with different themes, but I hadn’t liked any. It appears I like it.

Brennan Harding

This young boy is Kane’s little cousin and roommate, Brennan Harding. Kane and Brennan’s dads were brothers, but they “misteriously” disappeared, and Brennan had to move in with Kane. He’s the supporting character of the household. Having the Master Chef aspiration, he’s the one that cooks the meals, does housekeeping chores, and yet he is a top student. His mood swings have caused some difficulties, though. He’s a hot-headed teen and gets angry very fast. His girlfriend is Sofia Bjergsen. They have already had teen woohoo, and she might possibly be pregnant. Scary.

Kane Harding

Kane Harding is the main character of the household I’m currently playing (the Harding cousins). Up to date, Kane has mastered the Fitness skill, he has completed the Bodybuilder aspiration, and works as a Trainer to the Stars. He also took over the leadership of the Powerhouse club to fulfill the Leader of the Pack aspiration. He’s still single, but there’s a cute lady on his horizon.

Genetics glitch

I found that error playing with Genetics in TS4. The “create a...” droplist doesn’t show anything else, the photos are not selected and the buttons show those many W’s.

It actually lets you create the Sim, but this dialog didn’t look like this before. The Sims 4 program is not working for me. I’ve had much difficulty creating a f**king household. I’ve spent much time in vain because of those technical errors, even without CC.

Problems saving household

Hello, friends. I’m creating a new household, but I can’t save it.

When I click the Save to my Gallery, the proper screen pops up but then, neither the Save nor the Cancel buttons work, leaving me trapped in that screen; only F4 to close the program works, the "you’re not saving" warning shows up, thus I’m left with closing the game without saving.

About the household: it’s an Adult male so far (he’s intended to have wife and kids), with the Super Parent aspiration, and the Self-assured, Active and Family-oriented traits. Obviously, he has custom skin, skin details, hair, beard, eyebrows, body hair and genitalia.

I haven’t tried with a vanilla game (without CC). Has any of you had this problem? All help is appreciated. Thanks.

The issue was ME...

I don’t have anything to explain, but my dear followers deserve to know why I have been long absent. The issue was ME:

For the last year and a half, and to my shame, I developed an addiction to crystal meth. In May, 5 months ago, I was entered into a rehabilitation center, and there’s where I had been for these long weeks.

I got out today. My Psych recommended more time out instead of spending all day long inside my room; y’know, work, do exercise and go out (as healthy as I was before I knew that damn substance). When I get control of my everyday activities, I’ll be less active in my Simblr for that cause.

Let’s hope all this time in rehab was worth it.
