I have known and witnessed favoritism amongst the eggs since their inception, and thats fine as characters but to see that transfer in a lack of solidarity for the admins feels incredibly low.

people speaking about the admin situation with the attitude that ‘things could have been worse’ ‘or they did things for free anyway’ Or general attitude of ‘whats the big deal’

It’s confusing for me because even if people could have been treated worse (and some individuals were treated terribly already) but even if they could be ‘worse off’ why stoop to that bar. Why shouldnt we as an audience hope for minimum care for employees or even much better care then most would find in other jobs? Why is that too much to hope for that the entertainment we enjoy has happy well looked after individuals providing that service. Every moment I can think of becomes so heartbreaking knowing that the admins behind it were facing mental and financial stress for simply being there. It sucks, it sucks so much. And for the disappointment or discomfort I feel from learning about this situation is nothing to what it means to experience and live this situation.

The reason qstudios is only focused on ‘pay’ for this situation is because it’s illegal. All the admins that had been or still are working for free did so because they loved what they were doing, most of them simply wanted more communication with what was going on and between themselves and for general respect for the work they put forth. This does not mean they dont need pay because they absolutely need to be and qstudios knows this. Qstudios firing or freezing out individuals so they’ll be responsible for less is sickening.

kinda hate the philosophy some people here have of "just shut up about all the issues with the server oh my god :/// youre so annoying ://///" like they try and peddle it as not "spreading negativity" but you know its actually mostly because they dont wanna feel bad about supporting workplace abuse (the other smaller bit is just people who are too parasocial with a company to care about the workers)

LITERALLY EXACTLY WHAT YOU SAID. “shutting up” to them just means blindly supporting everything that quackity studios does, supporting their merch drops and new plotlines and not acknowledging the hell they put their admins through. when ppl say to stop talking about it they just want to stop having to hear any criticism of what quackity studios does. this IS our fucking business because our support of the QSMP is what is allowing it to keep going in the same exploitative way that it currently is. listen to me right the fuck now, no one needs to speak about it if they don’t want to, but for the love of god ACKNOWLEDGE it. watch your cubitos! have fun, whatever! but keep that shit in your mind with everything they do because seeing people blindly support this latest QSMP stream as if it isn’t the most tone deaf disgusting thing I’ve ever seen with context is just depressing. you people are all cowards

Another ex admin, head builder for the QSMP, has shared their experience working for the project !

This is the admin who, amongst other things, built the cathedral for Mexican Independance day, the Purgatory 1 main spawn, the whole Purgatory two area.

It’s in Portuguese but the Twitter translation tool is working wonders. I encourage you to read it in its entirety, especially because they provided a lot of screenshots, but here are the main points being talked about :

-Trial period lasting longer than what was agreed to at first.

-Short deadlines leading to a lot of work needed to be done in a short amount of time (The entirety of Purgatory 2 was built in a week).

-Inconsistant pay : There were paid 10$ an hour while another builder was paid more, and another was paid 6$ an hour. They weren’t being paid for the work they did working on lore or on cucuruchito.

-Was demoted from some of their role and then kicked from the server with no real reason.

-Confirms that most of the issues came from that one High Admin.

Червь плоский желтопятнистый (Thysanozoon havomaculatum) . Морской червь из класса ресничные черви, или турбеллярий. Принадлежит отряду Поликлад. Имеет уплощённое, овальное тело, покрытое ресничным  эпителием. Длина этого симпатичного создания около 4 см, а толщина всего пару миллиметров. Передний конец его тела несёт пару  щупалец. Мускулатура этого плоского червя многослойная, хорошо развитая, благодаря ей он способен подниматься в толщу воды за счёт ундулирующих движений краёв тела, а не только обитать на дне. Этот свободноживущий плоский червь питается преимущественно как хищник, водными беспозвоночными. Встречается в морях вокруг Австралии и Индонезии.

Yellow-spotted flatworm (Thysanozoon havomaculatum). A marine worm from the class of ciliated worms, or turbellarians. Belongs to the Polyclad squad. It has a flattened, oval body covered with ciliated epithelium. The length of this cute creature is about 4 cm, and the thickness is only a couple of millimeters. The front end of its body bears a pair of tentacles. The musculature of this flatworm is multi-layered, well developed, thanks to it it is able to rise into the water column due to undulating movements of the edges of the body, and not just live on the bottom. This free-living flatworm feeds primarily as a predator on aquatic invertebrates. It is found in the seas around Australia and Indonesia.
