bonded labels or synlabels
a label for 2 or more terms that cant exist or at least would be way different without the other terms attached to it. this is not an umbrella term for anything, nor is it under any umbrella. it is a completely seperate label on its own for the way people may experience specific stuff.
multiple labels could be bonded to one label, vice versa or they could all be mutually bonded together
more info under cut! please dont forget to read if youre interested!!
examples would be but is not limited to:
being a bennetboy but not feeling bennetian or like a boy otherwise
being kenolux but not being kenochoric or luxine individually
the girl part of your boygirlhood feeling like it's overlayed ontop of your boyhood, and therefore you wouldnt be a girl if you're not a boy, but you'd still be a boy if you werent a girl
"is [x] a synlabel?"
if it feels like a synlabel to you then it is!!
"can I make synlabel terms?"
synlabel is more of like- a folder one would choose to put their labels in you know? making synlabel terms seperately would ruin their intended purpose. you can make flags for it if you really want to, however they shouldnt have unique names like "catboybel" or something. realistically it's title would be like "catboy synlabel flag". and making flags is nowhere near a requierement.
"how is it pronounced?"
pronounce it however youd like!! etymology wise it comes from 'syngrapha' meaning bond, and 'label', however you can pronounce it however it feels right to you!!
synlabel symbol

NOT A REQUEST, JUST ASKING FOR CLARIFICATION im really sorry to bother you /gen im not fully grasping what an "aesthetigender" is ive tried looking at a wiki page on it. ive tried looking through the tag on tumblr. im just having issues grasping it :/ ive gathered that its related to the looks of things, in some effect. do you mind explaining it to me? /not forced ty if you do
that's pretty much the most basic definition! mrri'll [i'll] expand on it a bit by explaining what 'aesthetic' actually means.
'aesthetics' is a philosophy of beauty and art that seeks to explain why people enjoy the sensory and mental experience of something (often its appearance, like a painting, but also other sensory input, such as the sound of a song).
you'll also see 'aesthetic' used to describe a grouping of sensory and artistic (and potentially philosophical or political) aspects that are often combined and evoke a certain feeling or meaning - for example, solarpunk combines visuals of sunlight and plants with values of renewable energy and supportive local communities to evoke feelings of hope for a better future.
aesthetigenders, then, are genders that are related to, derived from, or embodiments of a certain aesthetic experience. for example, mrri'll [i'll] use one of mrry [my] aesthetigenders, arlesroomaesic. arlesroomaesic is aesthetically related to the painting 'the bedroom' by van gogh, meaning that it is related to that painting visually and might also be related to how one feels when they see that painting, or to the way the painting it composed, or any other way of being related to that painting in a sensory and mental way.
mrri'm [i'm] probably making it sound complicated, but tl;dr: aesthetigender = gender related to a thing's sensory qualities, usually to its visual qualities, and to how those qualities make one feel.

queertragab: a trans person who identifies as their assigned gender solely in a queer way
[pt: queertragab: a trans person who identifies as their assigned gender solely in a queer way. end pt]
for anon!
the blue and pink stripes are from the parts of this flag and this flag that represent being amab and afab respectively, the yellow stripe in the center represents other potential gender assignments (assigned intersex, unassigned, etc.), the two purple stripes represent queerness, and the flag is formatted somewhat like the trans flag!
the term is 'queer', 'tra' from 'trans', + 'agab'!
flag id: a flag with 5 stripes. in order, they are faded blue, pinkish-purple, very light yellow, reddish-pink, and faded indigo. end id.
banner id: a 1600x200 teal banner with the words ‘please read my dni before interacting. those on my / dni may still use my terms, so do not recoin them.’ in large white text in the center. the text takes up two lines, split at the slash. end id.

just a reminder that “being gay isn’t a personality trait” is just an evolved form of “i don’t care if you’re gay i just don’t want to see it”. no gay man thinks it’s their only personality trait, no lesbian thinks it’s their only personality trait, no trans person thinks it’s their only personality trait. you’re just annoyed by someone embracing a large part of themselves and being comfortable in their body and in a community of people like them.

Transtidal: A trans person who has a masculine or man related identity, is transitioning towards masculinity or manhood, etc., regardless of anything else about their identity. Can be shortened to transtid.
Someone who might want to use this label includes...
Those whose manhood or masculinity is distinctly trans, but do not identify with being a trans man or transmasculine.
Someone who is admasculine and/or sensmasculine, and who feel that this identity is also trans.
People who do not want their AGAB assumed; only that they are trans, and aligned with masculinity or manhood in some way. This includes transmasc and trans men who would rather not disclose being that identity for safety, comfort, or preference.
Identifying with your AGAB, while also feeling as though you're transitioning towards it or have an identity surrounding it in a trans way (such as experiencing a different kind of masculinity or manhood.)
Nonbinary, genderqueer, etc. men or masculine people who want a blanket term for their trans identity, or who feel as though they're transitioning to manhood or masculinity in their own way.
Those who are reclaiming their manhood or masculinity that was formerly upsetting or wrong for them, and thus feel as though they're transitioning to it or only just realizing their manhood or masculine gender.
Someone who is simply trans and masculine and/or a man, and likes the term transtidal to describe that.
Plenty more!
The term refers to the tides, and how they rise and sink, flow and recede from the ocean, and can represent someone's identity or transition. Or it can just be a cool nod to the ocean, doesn't matter.
The feminine equivalent to this term is translunar.
This term was made by me, but the flag and symbol weren't; they were submitted by someone! I edited the flag a bit to be brighter, but other than that, credit goes to them!

It has a white symbol resembling the female venus symbol, but the top circle is replaced with a crescent moon. The bottom left image is the symbol by itself, and the bottom right image is the flag with no symbol. End ID]
-
Translunar: A trans person who has a feminine or woman related identity, is transitioning towards femininity or womanhood, etc., regardless of anything else about their identity. Can be shortened to translun.
-
Someone who might want to use this label includes...
Those whose womanhood or femininity is distinctly trans, but do not identify with being a trans woman or transfeminine.
Someone who is adfeminine and/or sensfeminine, and who feel that this identity is also trans.
People who do not want their AGAB assumed; only that they are trans, and aligned with femininity or womanhood in some way. This includes transfem and trans women who would rather not disclose being that identity for safety, comfort, or preference.
Identifying with your AGAB, while also feeling as though you're transitioning towards it or have an identity surrounding it in a trans way (such as experiencing a different kind of femininity or womanhood.)
Nonbinary, genderqueer, etc. women or feminine people who want a blanket term for their trans identity, or who feel as though they're transitioning to womanhood or femininity in their own way.
Those who are reclaiming their womanhood or femininity that was formerly upsetting or wrong for them, and thus feel as though they're transitioning to it or only just realizing their womanhood or feminine gender.
Someone who is simply trans and feminine and/or a woman, and likes the term translunar to describe that.
Plenty more I'm sure I'm forgetting.
The label comes from the astronomy term translunar, which describes a trajectory between the Earth and the Moon. This can just be a cool nod to astronomy, a tie to the moon, or it may be tied to how someone is transitioning from the "earth" to the "moon."
This is sort of my own take on a term like transfieldian. The masculine equivalent to this is called transtidal.

yes people that say “lesbians can’t like/be men” are aligned with terfs. Lemme lay this out for y’all. because I know some people just don’t know the connection and might actually be willing to change their minds.
all that’s changing with the “men can’t be lesbians/ lesbians can’t like men” from its usage moving from terf spaces into exclus lesbian spaces is the definition of what a man or a woman is. terfs say “you can’t be a woman/lesbian if you were born male” and that “being a man is being male”. The modern online exclusionary lesbians say “you can’t be a lesbian if you’re part/also a man”, targeting nonbinary & multigender people who may also be a “nonman”
Also, “lesbian only spaces” are rebranded “female only spaces”.  “bi lesbians are forcing real lesbians to like men” is rebranded “trans lesbians are forcing real lesbians to like penis (men)”.  “real lesbian” is rebranded “real woman”.  “words have definitions a lesbian is xyz stop removing us” is rebranded “words have definitions a woman is xyz stop removing us”.
This wave of anti mspec lesbians is just rebranding radical feminism to be more palatable to a more progressive general society. accepting these is letting radfems slowly indoctrinate young people. don’t become compliant in these ideas spreading.
Not to mention people who live most of their life assuming they are a man because that’s what society told them based on their genitals may still hold on to that. Some trans women consider themselves to have once been men, or to in some part still be men. gender is complicated.  Since gender is a construct (something “real” that we made up, like money or language) different people will view it differently, also transphobes exist. people will perceive people who are Not men as being men. When you say “men absolutely cannot be a part of this” and act like you’ll actually explode if maybe some are, you start to “defend” yourself from anyone you think is a man. yes even if they’re not a man. besides people do not owe you their gender identity…
By trying to simplify the definition a sexuality (which is informed by gender) you are actively harming people with complicated genders and basically all transgender people in general (not necessarily as individuals)
Also! in regards to lesbian men, many lesbians have always had connections to manhood and masculinity while still being a lesbian. Butches exist
Using a phrase used to chase transgender women out of lesbian spaces will never be appropriate or respectful, no matter how much you say you think trans women are women. Actions are louder than words yk. Even if you “don’t mean it like that”, these are still the ideas you’re promoting by enforcing ideas like this.  Because guess what. it’s the same thing. I’m not even covering all the similarities, or the history that terfism and lesbian only being exclusive sapphics both come from the same/similar radfems…
Overall “policing” other peoples definitions is bad. one person saying this is what x means to me does NOT mean that’s what it has to mean for you. Someone else’s identity should not have to conform to what you understand. the individual will always understand the words that are best for them better than you. saying things like “lesbians can’t be men! lesbians can’t like men!” will stop absolutely nobody, there are more important things than validity.

lesboy for veldigirl/lesboy for turigirl/lesboy4veldigirl/lesboy4turigirl: a lesboy who prioritizes or prefers relationships with veldigirls/turigirls. can also be used to describe a relationship between a lesboy and a veldigirl/turigirl.

for anon! colors are adjusted from the lesboy and veldgirl/turigirl flag, with the lesboy4veldigirl flag having an emphasis on warm colors and the veldigirl4lesboy flag having one on cool colors. there’s another lesboy4turigirl flag that i would’ve based my turigirl4lesboy flag off of, but since i can’t find the flags it took inspiration from, i just made both flags to ensure they matched.

transvir: 7 stripes | 7 stripes alternate | 4 stripes transera: 7 stripes | 7 stripes alternate | 4 stripes
transvir: an umbrella term for all afab* people whose gender(s) is/are male-adjacent, male-aligned, male-identified, and/or male. a subset of transmasculine that specifies that one identifies as male in some way, which can be used as a single-word adjective version of ‘trans man’ (ex: ‘i’m transvir’)
transera: an umbrella term for all amab* people whose gender(s) is/are female-adjacent, female-aligned, female-identified, and/or female. a subset of transfeminine that specifies that one identifies as female in some way, which can be used as a single-word adjective version of ‘trans woman’ (ex: ‘i’m transera’)
*both of these terms are inclusive of intersex people who are not afab/amab but have similar/the same experiences as trans men/women nonetheless
more new gendervir/genderera terms! i personally am fine with the term transmasculine, but i know some trans men who don’t consider their genders masculine/identify with masculinity, don’t plan to go through a ‘masculine’ transition, or otherwise don’t feel fully described by transmasculine, and i assume there are some trans women out there who feel the same. i figured these could be welcome alternatives for people like that, as well as useful terms for those who do still consider themselves transmasc/transfem but also want to specify their trans male/female identity or be able to describe that identity with a specific adjective!
the first flags are based on these transmasculine and transfeminine flags, the second remove the stripes associated with one’s assigned gender for those who prefer not to reference that, and the four-stripe flags are based on these. i wanted versions based on the more commonly-used transmasc and transfem flags as well as alternatives for those who want them!

petownic: a gender that is in some way related to/influenced by one’s pets. it may be only related to specific pets (ex: having both a cat and a dog, but only being influenced by the cat), it may be related to all the pets one currently owns, or it may be related to every pet one has ever owned. it may gain new dimensions when one adopts a new pet, be felt more strongly when one is closer to their pet(s), and may take on the traits of one’s pet(s) (such as size, color, gender, mannerisms, etc.)

Heya, any way you can help me find a term for my gender?
I'm a man but also.. not really? It's not man + something else, or two genders at once, it's simply,, as if I was a copy of a man. Pseudo-man? I know pseudogender is a thing and different but you get what I'm saying.
I use paraboy already but it's not as correct as I'd like. Any gender you know that fits this?
I personally use the term proxvir, but I could probably find some more if that doesn’t fit
