he is rainy-day eyes and cloud-silver hair and the way his lips press together in anxiety reminds you of flower petals at the start of spring. sweet, if a little shy.

I think older love interest trope is evergreen lol. Older protag is more "niche" in my opinion (i.e. everyone's got some degree of daddy kink some just don't know it yet)

wakatoshi ushijima ➝ the “locked in” hug, where the moment hes hugging you, your senses are just ushijima all around

satori tendou ➝ the “i-cant-breathe-let-go” hug where he squeezes you so tightly you consider checking for bruises but its also usually filled with compliments or peppering of kisses

tsutomu goshiki  ➝ the gentle timid hug, like hes scares youll push him away, even though youve hugged him 1000 times, his hugs are warm and soft

shirabu kenjirou ➝  the hug where he lets out a long sigh that he’s been holding all day, curling into you

INARIZAKI

atsumu miya ➝ the pick up hug, where he just picks you up and squeezes, talking a mile a minute, and not letting go

osamu miya  ➝  hugs you from behind, also slightly picking you up, tucking his chin into your shoulder with his laugh giving you goosebumps

rintarou suna  ➝ a hug where he tucks his head into your shoulder, and holds you in place to talk, his hugs are part of how he recharges

shinsuke kita ➝ polite hug that makes you feel safe. he doesnt squeeze you tight but he does tuck his chin onto your shoulder to talk.

DATE TECH

takanobu aone ➝ bear hugs. completely enveloping you in his arms. squeezing tight but always not tight enough. 

kenji futakuchi ➝ a side hug while youre sitting beside eachother with his hand on your thigh

kanji koganegawa  ➝  he aways runs into your hugs but theyre actually soft hugs, where he holds you with a hand holding the back of your neck

OTHER

yuuji terushima  ➝ a hug where he tickles you slightly to piss you off and then draws you into his arms, dancing around. his hugs are fun and loving.

sakusa kiyoomi ➝ hugs are rare from him but when he does its all encompassing, doesnt matter your height he is tucking you into his chest and holding you close

I hope the blind date requests are still open!! Hmm okay so three words... introverted, romantic (in the sense of romanticising things, sometimes too much lol), sincere. Love language physical touch or words of affirmation. Favourite food is a hard one oohhh I'll basically eat anything spicy,, but hmmm I'm currently obsessed with those spicy korean instant noodles. With the chicken character on the packaging. Thank you much!!

Ooo yes the buldak noodles are iconic. Love that stuff... so about that blind date 👀

...if you could really call it a date 🙃. Bokuto shows up at your house with the spiciest instant noodles he can find and challenges you to a contest. First person to drink anything loses. (Spoiler alert: he caves first and makes you promise not to tell anyone how he shed a few tears in the process). After everything is done and stomach ache’s are settled, he tells you that once he builds up his spice tolerance he will return to defeat you. Cut to him asking you to go to a Szechuan restaurant with him next week. Not exactly the most stereotypical start to a sweeping romance, but hey it works. 🌶

see the thing that’s slowing me down as i write my sakusa fic is that i can’t convince myself that this boy is going to initiate physical contact with someone he’s just met. in it’s truest form romance with sakusa is definitely slow burn but i don’t have the patience to write all that ya feel.
