it seems people don't understand. a GLUP SHITTO is a character in a very popular piece of media (like star wars) that if you asked a random person or even a casual fan, they wouldn't know who the fuck that is. a BLORBO is just your little guy. can be any kind of character they're just your little GUY. a POOR LITTLE MEOW MEOW is a villain, usually with a sad backstory, who you are defending and woobifying. they've done WRONG. not everyone can be a poor little meow meow. just because they're pathetic doesn't mean they're a meow meow that mf had to commit CRIMES. if you want a pathetic little fucker of any moral persuasion that is a BABYGIRL. usually male, doesn't have to be. just has to be kind of fucked up. get your terminology CORRECT

i desperately need stolitz being silly with each other

i need light teasing, dumb little inside jokes about each other, i need that trust that comes with knowing someone so intimately. i want the ambiguity that comes with their bond because stolas wouldn’t just fall for sex, BLITZØ wouldn’t fall for someone just because of the sex

i need the thinly veiled affection that is covered only by denial and is obstructed by the origins of their deal. i need awkward yet thoughtful gestures and giggling and fun between their sexual encounters because it’s not just a transaction anymore, it’s so much more and yet still not enough

The thing about the Blitz full moon outfit is it’s such a contrast to how he normally dresses. It’s cute and vulnerable and a little young looking. It’s cheerful, no black coat, the lil bow tie. It’s like such a good reflection of his excitement I can’t stand it. Like he took his coat off for Stolas, and all of his coats are armor, they are spikey and wide and now he’s just in this little t-shirt. I think every other time he shows up in either his coat or a costume for their rendezvous and it’s like he’s dressing special for this night because he’s so gleeful and IT IS GOING TO KILL ME.

we all have different interpretations and yet you replied to my 10-notes and-no-reblogs post from 2022 just to give me your unsolicited and unneeded opinion.

if you want to have a discussion about platonic maitake then make your own damn post; the moment you reply to me i will answer how i see fit. my point was how annoying YOU were being by going out of your way to tell me i’m wrong on my interpretation of them when i don’t even know you.

the point YOU were trying to make is irrelevant because i didn’t want it nor did i ask for it. if you’re not ready for the backlash don’t add yourself into the discussion in the first place— i will be as rude as i want because you started it lol

before you read: as always I use ship names (bajifuyu, takefuyu, maitake, etc.) bcs they're quicker, that doesn't mean I ship the two characters in question+ slight tokyorev manga spoilers

my biggest pet peeve is people that constantly compare friendships in tokyorev, ESPECIALLY when they're talking abt two different friends a character has.

I've seen it happen with bajifuyu and takefuyu, mtk and the sano brothers (shin and mikey), kokonui and koko+akane, etc.

stop viewing characters just as the extention of one another!!! and just because two relationships or two characters have similarities, that doesn't mean that's all there is to it!!

chifuyu cared a great deal abt baji, and he did entrust the latter's position to takemichi, but that doesn't mean takefuyu is just the mere continuation of bajifuyu!! the two friendships are so fucking different, it's stupid to compare them at every single breath you take

furthermore, why are people painting chifuyu and kazutora as rivals competing for baji's attention??? they quite literally open a pet shop together in the bonten timeline AND work together in the 1st future we see kazutora

just bcs akane and inupi are similar (bcs they're SIBLINGS) that doesn't mean koko thinks they're the same person!!! the only one that ever makes that comparison is INUI, and we cannot say with 100% certainty that his pov is reliable and unbiased

lastly, just bcs mikey sees similarities between shin and takemichi, it doesn't mean he thinks he's his fucking brother!!! or at the very least, it is not canon; you have all the rights to interpret their dynamic as brotherly but it's idiotic to condemn anyone that DOESN'T interpret it that way

tldr: stop viewing different bonds/dynamics as mere mirrors of each other just bcs you can draw some comparisons tyvm

i like that our main ch in hb isn’t delivered a love interest that is perfectly poised to handle his emotional baggage and only exists to reassure him. i want blitz to have an interesting love interest because he’s an interesting character. 

i like that stolas is a faildad who cares because blitz is a faildad who cares. i like that stolas is lonely and reacts poorly to it because blitz is lonely and reacts poorly to it. i like that stolas can be a bitch because blitz can be a bitch. I like that stolas can be ignorant of others’ feelings because blitz can be ignorant of others’ feelings. I like that being with blitz causes stolas to grow because being with stolas causes blitz to grow. 

i enjoy a main character matched with someone who is spiritually his equal. i enjoy a central romance where both characters are developed enough that you can see them growing together and as individuals through their interactions.

i like when each of them have something the other needs. blitz is not just getting the love and support he needs from stolas, he is special enough and strong enough and good enough to be able to give stolas back the things stolas needs from a partnership. he is capable of creating a relationship with someone flawed like him, of putting in the work to make it happen because as a main character he’s not a passive figure who just has things happen to him.
