It's been so long since I've been here. I think I might remake this blog and start over with everything with a very limited amount of muses. I do want to write but my energy is gone and my free time is limited. With that being said, if you would like me to follow you from the new blog when it's made, please give this a like.

Weston had gotten up when he thought he heard the sound of someone in the house. After doing a quick search through the house, he'd realized that he couldn't fall back to sleep and, rather than tossing and turning and waking Scarlett up, he'd chosen to instead head into the kitchen to get a glass of water and a small snack. Hearing the words behind him, he nearly jumped out of his skin.

"Damn, woman, you nearly scared the crap outta me." The words were said with a tone of actual fright to them, although there was a joking undertone as well. "I'll be up there in a minute, alright? I thought I heard somethin' and then decided a slice of pie sounded good." Even if it was three in the morning and would only end up giving him heartburn later. "Unless you'd like to share in some of this delicacy with me."

He knew this was a serious moment, but he couldn't help but feel just the tiniest bit smug that she was here in front of him, admitting that she loved him. "I knew you couldn't resist me forever, Addie," he finally stated, stepping closer to her and letting a hand come to rest on her face. "You know I love you. I know I haven't been the best type of man in the past, but if you give me a chance, I'll prove to you that I've changed. I can be the man you deserve."

While Julia should have been everything Mark wanted in a woman - and really, she was the whole package - there was one thing she wasn't: Lexie Grey. Sure, Mark had made it seem like he was madly in love with the redhead and their relationship was so great, but really, every time he saw her, all he thought of was the fact that she wasn't Lexie. How much he still loved Lexie. So having the resident stand in front of him and admit that out loud... it made something click for him.

Reaching out a hand to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear, Mark gave Lexie a smile.

"What if I told you that you didn't have to pick them up alone anymore?" he asked. Sure, he'd have to call and tell Julia that he couldn't see her anymore. But if it meant getting Lexie back? He was fine with that.

While he'd known from the start that Roxie was not one who did well in relationships, he had been determined to eventually break through that and show her that sometimes, men weren't actually crappy.
