This is Nico, a Jellying. She's the first of her kind to be in the spotlight, as Jellyfish tend to remain tiny and less humanoid, thus overlooked. Seeing Marina perform is what inspired her to create music, and when Mini, a Sea Slug, joins her and Val, they create Ink Prism.

Val is an Octoling who strictly separates his idol persona from his day to day life. His idols when growing up we're Callie from squid sisters and Marina from off the hook. He met Nico, a Jellying (a jelly fish with a humanoid form) and started a band with her. Shortly after that a little shrimp called Mini joins their group and they officially form Ink Prism.
