not enough consideration is given to the fact that illya is, in the end, german. sure she was taught japanese to make it in the hgw, but since the einzberns are located in germany her native language would be german. thus, she would speak in german when talking to herself, and would have the multilingual problems TM. things like wishing a happy birthday she’d also prefer saying in german, since it would mean more for her to speak in her own native language.

Checking for his wallet and keys in his pocket, he then exits and starts walking towards the garage, unceremoniously lifting the metallic shutter, revealing two vehicles.

The motorcycle sits mostly unused in there (moreover, taking it would be inconvenient, considering the lack of space for the items they need to buy), and Kirei moves towards the white car, unlocking it and waiting for her to hop in.

A grin rose on her face. It was indeed a rule that she broke, and often enough in that. It had become even more difficult as of late - of course Illyasviel understood her role and the importance that her safety held, yet this was the first, and quite possibly her last, time to do something such as this. Pushing boundaries, figuring things out by herself, seeing what the world had to offer outside her confinement.

“Don’t tell anyone.” It would be their secret, and theirs alone; not even Shirou knew that she was not supposed to leave the watchful eyes of her maids.

Scurrying after Kirei, trying to keep up with the pace that his long legs set, Illyasviel curiously looked at the surroundings. Though she’d visited the church on multiple occasions, there were many areas that she had yet to set a foot in. Yet her feet halted, staying still even when Kirei proceeded to move to the car he also had in the garage, before quickly following after to sit in the front seat.

“Was that a motorcycle?” Her voice full of wonder, her eyes sparkling with curiosity, she could hardly sit still. Not only had it been her first time actually seeing one so close, she had never expected Kirei to have one. “Is it yours? Does it work? Do you use it often?” The questions endless, Illyasviel was filled with wonder and curiosity. Though she did not know him too well, this was a side of the man she’d had no idea of; had never even thought possible.
