It wasn't planned. It just happened! Something happened. And the four of us found ourselves here. It wasn't planned. But God knew this day would come. Each of us with a story to tell, advise give and patient ears to hear. All of us at different stages of our lives. Having fought battles others could only imagine, but with strong hearts, brave hearts to live each day we breathed to fight again. So much has changed since then. But I still remember that night. On miracles. A miracle is defined as an extraordinary and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore attributed to a divine agency. I have so many testimonies on the miracles I've experienced. And now am back on my knees praying for more miracles to come my way. The key thing to remember about miracles is that it is not about: How hard and how long you pray. How long your fast is. Your good deeds. Or how seemingly obedient you have been to God's commandments. Because as humans, we are flawed no matter how good we try to be. Miracles are about the character of God- his goodness, mercy, faithfulness and love. John 14:13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. Spend time with God. When things are good, sometimes we barely have time to read, meditate on the word and pray. We are often busy with: *The job we prayed for and got *The husband and children we prayed for and got *Every other 'valid' reason that keeps us busy May we always find time for God as we enjoy the blessings he has bestowed upon us. But on the other end, some of us are in the waiting period. Waiting for a job, a husband, fees for further education and so on. May God give you the grace to have faith in his promises for you. If I was able to go back to one moment in my life and start over... This would be it. I was so free and happy. Not that I don't have these things now but this picture encompasses who I love being as a person. So much has happened since then. Some I could have honestly lived without. But that's what being human is about. Every day we wake up we have no idea what is coming to meet us. But we take risks, and do things having faith that we made the right decisions and good will come our way. At least I have this picture as a memory of who I can become again.
