I am trying to be invested in these new kdrama couples, but I’m struggling. It’s like Sure, they’re cute but are they let’s-drink-until-four-in-the-morning-let-me-hug-you-for-ten-seconds-to-see-if-I-have-feelings-for-you-do-you-know-the-difference-between-ingeoppang-and-bungeoppang cute?

I THINK NOT.

I TOLD YA’LL. I EFFING TOLD YA’LL.
haven’t even watched hometown cha cha cha in its entirety BUT I watched ep 11-14 over my mom’s shoulder and we have come to this conclusion (don’t rmb any of their names bear with me) (possible spoilers ahead) :
du sik blamed himself for that dude’s father’s permanent injury (doha?) even though it TECHNICALLY wasn’t his fault (bc, I mean, come on, it’s du sik) but the son, raging, took it as someone to pin the blame on. du sik feels guilt overwhelm him (bc, I mean, come on, it’s du sik) and then tries to off himself. that senior dude catches him, saves his life and convinces him not to jump, and while they are in the car that huge ass truck hits the car and the senior dude dies but du sik does not. so senior dude’s wife feels so wronged because du sik is the one who wanted to die but her husband is the one who died instead, and therefore du sik felt EVEN MORE GUILTY (bc, I mean, come on, it’s du sik) and this contributed to his whole I-bring-death-wherever-i-go thing.
in conclusion, du sik did not murder anyone. and they r gonna get their happy ending. thank you for coming to my ted talk.
