"I want to thank you again for joining me today, Norman" she said with a wide open smile.

"You know I'm more than happy to spend time with you" was the answer Emma heard from behind as she was leaning in Norman's back.

He had been working all morning that day, with lots of paperwork to go through as his schedule was pretty tied during the week, yet whenever she asked him to spare a moment to be with her and their family, he complied.

That was their dynamic, ever since her family found her many years ago, now they were older, and their relationship had grown strong. At the beginning, she didn't know why, but something about Norman was captivating. It didn't take long for her to realize that they had shared a more intimate bond, along with Ray, when she had her memories or when she was "That Emma" who everyone talked about so much.

It took her a long time to come to terms with everyone and their grief. They had lost a sister, yes, she was alive, but her essence was gone, and she would never admit it, at least not in front of the family, that she felt quite jealous of her last self. She tried many times to become like her, to copy her mannerisms and jokes, to have the same attitude as her, gathering information from her family and the stories they told her. After Gilda caught up with what Emma was trying to do, she asked to just be herself, she didn't have to try to be someone else.

"You are still You. Memories or no memories"

Her train of thought was interrupted when she heard Norman ask her a question that she didn't hear quite well, and so she asked him to repeat.

"I asked if there's something in your mind."

"How do you know?" Emma turned her head towards the window.

"It's been a while since I heard you turned the page, and unless the book is boring, which I doubt since you've been reading quite fast, I would say that you're meditating about something"

She looked at the floor for a moment, smiling a bit. He was aware of her habits, and she loved it.

"I was thinking about how far we've come ever since you found me."

He didn't respond. A sound of a page turning became loud in the space of her bedroom.

"And about us."

His back became stiff.

"What about it?" He asked.

Emma turned her body towards him, putting her arms around his shoulders and putting her head in the left one.

"That I'm glad we could find each other again."

Norman put his hand on one of her arms and looked at her.

"I'm glad too."

They kissed briefly.

Yes. This was their dynamic, this is who they were, and she was sure that with or without memories they would always be like this.

it's okay if you aren't writing right now. it's okay not to be online. it's okay to take breaks. this is a hobby, not a job, and you should spend your time however you want to, not how others may want you to. don't stress yourself over not being around enough; it doesn't matter if you take days, weeks, or even months — it's okay to do things the way it works best for you. and if that means taking longer to reply, then so be it. people are usually far more understanding than we give them credit for.

Honestly nothing in particular, but I was looking pretty hard for a yoimiya a while ago.

any other tumblr accounts you role play with or recommend?

I'm not going to lie I haven't been on Tumblr in a good while, or really roleplayed at all recently (again, working on getting back my motivation) but I do have two main accounts I've roleplayed with on here and I love them both. I don't want to tag anyone since im not exactly actively communicating with either of them, but one was a multi-muse and one I believe is mainly/only project sekai (last I checked).

Loved roleplaying with them both, hope to continue roleplaying with one soon. They both had different styles but were incredibly detailed and were really good at portraying their character which of course just makes a roleplay more fun. First one was actually the one who got me on here and helped build this blog. Sadly we don't talk anymore but, it was fun and I'm grateful :)

Top fandoms atm?

Oooh see that's tough. I've gotta say The Promised Neverland will always be a top for me, I've never roleplayed them but I will love them forever. All the characters but especially the main trio will always hold my heart I think.

Other then that it would probably be Miraculous and Genshin. I haven't really watched/played them a lot (or at all-) recently but I still love the characters and dynamics. Or at least my interpretation of them... But yeah. Those would be my top 3 at the moment if I had to choose. But The Promised Neverland is definitely a permanent comfort series at this point. Not sure how roleplaying it would work but I have some ideas if it did ever happen ^^

Whats ur fav rp you’ve done, is it ongoing or is it over? Tell me why!

Ahh this is a good question haha. I gotta say it’s an OC roleplay I’ve had going for maybe 3 years at least? Maybe?? A long time, basically. It hasn’t been going consistently due to me struggling with staying active all the time, but my partner is amazing and understanding, and their writing style is just mwah. They’re so amazing to just talk to and again, their writing style is just??? Amazing. I’m still so fond of our OCs, and their dynamic is so cute. It really pushes me as well, since I don’t roleplay as a guy really at all but my OC is one, so it can be hard sometimes to word things or do correct mannerisms but I love it cause it’s something I do need to get better at in writing just in general.

This was such a long post but yeah any chance I get to talk about this roleplay and the amazing person I’m doing it with I will take. And of course I love all the character role plays I’ve done in the last year or so (and am trying to get back into them), but I think even when it eventually ends this role play will always have a special place in my heart. But hopefully it doesn’t end any time soon!

Miko understood her archon’s need for space, after everything that had happened back then who wouldn’t need time to themselves? So when Ei had just disappeared she didn’t question her, she needed time and the fox had plenty of it so she was willing to wait. One year, her sister had died, this was to be expected. Ten years, she had lost those who she cared deeply for, she’d come back soon. One hundred…..Two hundred….Three….Four….Five…

It took five hundred years and even at that, Ei didn’t leave her Plane of Euthymia for her. She left it due to it being necessary to help her people and her country, not for Yae Miko. While the truth was a painful one for the kitsune it was one she had accepted. If Ei placed her counties value over the value of their relationship there was nothing she could change about that—no matter how much she desperately wanted to.

“ Lost track of time ? ” She hummed. It was a lie, an obvious one at that. One that Ei had used a couple too many times for it to have any meaning and yet Yae took it, acting as if it was the truth. “ I suppose It must be quite easy to lose track of time in such a place ” She glanced at the sky, it was once again a dark muddy colour, no longer light with the joy Ei had felt when Miko had first entered. Such a pity.

“ Oh? well I’m here to check in on you, of course, don’t tell me you think I’d have any other motive then to just see you ” She gave a mischievous grin, that was obviously not the only motive. “ I suppose i could also be here to drag you out ? ” she held up the small bag in her hand, her smile becoming less of a grin and more of a genuine expression. “ Or I’m just here so we can try some sweets I found ” If Ei wouldn’t leave for her then Yae could always start visiting. It wouldn’t take much effort for the kitsune to drop in at least once a week to see how things were going. While she’d much rather spend their time together enjoying the fresh air and sun this was better than nothing.

Ei’s voice was soft as she spoke, expression relaxing slightly at Miko’s reply. She knew Miko didn’t truly believe it, but she was relieved she had dropped it as she really did not want to argue with her. Confrontation was the last thing she wanted, an argument with the other would be too hard to deal with in her current mindset.  An argument with the other in general was just not something she would enjoy at any time. Miko had every right to be mad at her, but Ei would just try to keep the peace for now. 

The archon let out a soft laugh as Miko continued, tilting her head slightly to the side as she lifted her gaze from the floor to meet hers, having managed to push her nerves from her sudden appearance to the side. “Rather nice of you to visit Miko, I must say~” She hummed jokingly, folding her arms in front of her chest. She glanced at the bag in the kitsune’s hand as she lifted it, instantly curious as she dipped her head slightly to examine it. Anything sweet would undoubtedly grab her attention instantly. She hadn’t exactly had access to good food, yet alone sweets,  in her 500 years of isolation, and something that had never changed about her was her sweet tooth.

“Sweets? Say no more.” She spoke with a small smile, lifting her head and looking back to Miko, gaze flicking across the other’s face before meeting her eyes again. The look she was giving her sparked a warmth she had only ever felt around Miko. But why was she looking at her like that? Still. After everything she had done to avoid her, the fox still looked at her like something precious. Although she still didn’t truly understand how Miko had dodged all her attempts at trying to distance herself again, she wasn’t exactly complaining. She felt selfish, but maybe letting her in again just for today wouldn’t be too bad… Besides, she wouldn’t mind a trip outside. There was no point in shooing her away now, and just the thought of blocking Miko out when she was right in front of her made her nauseous. She’d have no explanation for kicking her out. Also it was slightly her fault, it wasn’t like she had been actively trying to keep her out in the first place...

“Mmm so...” Ei started again after a second of silence, taking a small step towards the other and extending her hand slightly. “Would you like to go out to where we were meant to meet...? I know you aren’t exactly a fan of this place.” She glanced to the side, giving a small sheepish shrug. She understood why Miko didn’t enjoy the Plane of Euthymia, although she obviously disagreed. Especially with how conflicted she had been as of late, it probably didn’t appear the nicest to someone who wasn’t used to spending all their time within it in the first place.
