Guys, guys, I just thought of an insane Buddie fic:

Jee is diagnosed with juvenile leukemia and none of the Buckleys are a match EXCEPT! Buck's secret twin brother that even Maddie didn't know about. The Buckley parents gave away the one that didn't match Daniel before allowing Maddie or Daniel see the new baby, but kept a sample of the twin's blood 'just in case'.

While Buck is considered a golden retriever, the twin is more like an old Anatolian Shepherd Dog; patient, calm, loyal, insanely protective, and intelligent. While they look exactly alike other than the birthmark (the twin's is on his jaw near his chin), they don not act, talk, dress, or even walk alike. But they do have very similar morals. And the twin is completely gay, admitted it and came out in college after experimenting with a woman, getting her pregnant with twins that she didn't want but he did.

While Buck's a first responder, the twin specializes on first responder vehicles. Also! The twin was adopted by a couple where the mother is Dena'ina (Alaskan native) and teaches him all there is to know about living off the land and the father is white, but teaches the twin is love for dirt bikes.

There's so much more, but I figured I better stop before I start rambling too much.

So apparently in Alaska it is not recommended but a requirement to take vitamin D supplements (or foods high in vitamin D) because despite the long summer hours, we still don't get the D. Why? Because of how far north we are and the angle of the earth, the sun's ultraviolet B rays pass right over us. Idk if it's true or not, but that would explain a few things.
