i hope you didn’t think that just because it’s your birthday, i’m gonna be nice to you. pft. well, i did get you something, but i’m not really sure if i’m gonna count that as bein’ nice, really.
i will say, however, that our friendship means a lot to me, and that i hope this birthday is very special for you, as well as all other birthdays to come. i hope that you enjoy yourself, that you smile and laugh and spend time with those who care about you. you deserve to be surrounded by that kind of family, that kind of happiness.
