Padival House was designed by local studio Anahata for a young couple with two children, who wanted a modern home to sit on a site in a typical gridiron residential neighbourhood.

Ryland West and Paul Heran Highlight the Skies Over California

Ryland West, and Paul Heran, are Northern California based photographers with a lust for capturing and sharing the natural wonders of the world in a creative way. For the project Highlight they decided to team up and shine a new light on astro photography as we know it.

In the words of the artists:

With a determination to set our images apart, we crafted our own aerial lighting rig with a drone and a light panel, a unique method, used to mimic sunlight under the night sky. Carefully crafting shadows to manipulate our landscapes we are bringing a certain surreality and natural feel to each nightscape, not found in many other techniques. After years of studying light we are pleased to bring you this gallery. Some of the worlds wonders blanketed by the night sky, in a way like never before.
