New blades in progress. I was sick for some time, finally getting back to my favorite activity. These have just been etched in ferric, then coffee.

After shutting down the forge I found this, it is burned flux lumps still glowing after welding a bunch of damascus at 2400f!

Of course I rode on the last day of summer!
Was pushing 100 mph (shhh!) not bad for a ‘84 Ironhead.

Lots of knives & forged work. This is an 80 layer damascus blade with African black wood. This crowd was always low end sales, but come on this blade for $250 with sheath! I won’t complain anymore. I had fun, friends came by, lots of alternative peeps stopped by, old students, etc. What a great crowd!

Did a little show the other day. Only had 1 table so just put a little of everything out. Some wonderful friends stopped by. I have another show in a few weeks so back to work! I have to finish another dozen blades + forged work.

Vulcanized rubber mold in progress. The sheets of rubber form 1 block or mold. Then it is cut open and the metal removed. Wax is then injected to make a copy of the metal pieces.
