Do you still use this account? If you’re still here, as an OG gaylor, how do you feel about so many gaylors taking “Tayvis” seriously? Never surprised the general public thinks PRomance isn’t a thing celebrities do, let alone something Taylor would partake in, but gaylors? I find it so fascinating how many are not only buying it, but getting defensive over it. A lot believed in Toe, and while I personally have my doubts about that, it was more “plausible” than this. Is it just because there are so many that are either newer, younger, or both in the gaylor community now? Or have we completely lost the plot here?
Hello, Anon, if you’re still around to see this. Sorry it’s taken so long to reply. I do check this account every once in a while. Things have been kind of crazy the past couple months with work, the holidays, and some health stuff I’ve been dealing with. So, I haven’t been on here as much…
and, tbh, I’ve lost a little interest lately (not that I don’t believe in gaylor… I’m just at one of my points, as has happened a few times over the years, where I’m finding the PR narrative a little overdone).
Obviously, we all have different personal experiences that shape our perspectives and interpretations/opinions of Taylor’s music and public image (or just Hollywood/celebrity PR, in general), so there will likely never be a consensus about Gaylor and her alleged boyfriends (or even her rumored girlfriends/flings).
Tayvis feels very Tayvin to me. The complete opposite of the narrative with Joe. I think she needed a more public relationship at this point because, whether they want to admit it or not, a lot of her fans that believe the public narrative want her to have a husband and kids. For them, that is the happy ending.
Idc, if she wants to be a single, lesbian spinster, with 20 cats, or if she wants to marry a woman. I just don’t personally don’t buy the alleged boyfriends. They don’t seem genuine to me. They almost always coincide with promotion for an album, or some other project, (aka product) - and are almost always mutually beneficial. Tayvis is the epitome of mutually beneficial PR.
I absolutely do think the beliefs people held prior to entertaining gaylor will shape the opinions they have about the public narrative and what is real vs what is PR. And maybe that’s why I just can’t see what people are saying when they say that any of the boyfriends have seemed genuine. The staged kisses look awkward to me every time.
Idk, there is always the chance that I am the one who is entirely off base with my opinion. I’ve learned to block out the people who get defensive or are overly aggressive about the theory that some of the boyfriends were real, the same way I have always ignored the hetlors.
I personally believe it’s possible for someone like Taylor to be a closeted lesbian, even in the current political/social climate (which, tbh, while a lot better than it was during the early years of Taylor’s career, still isn’t great). I think PR relationships and lavender marriages still exist, even for those in Taylor’s position. I think there are a lot of younger people who didn’t grow up in the world Taylor did, and even some people around our age who may have forgotten what it was like, and can’t understand why someone would still being doing those things today.
A big part of her whole career and public persona (although, she won’t admit it) is dating the heartthrob of the month and getting her heart broken and writing hit songs about it, leaving very obvious “clues” in her lyrics that point to that man and their (typically quite short) time together. It’s something her fans and the public/media eat right up. They love it and it sells… it sells really well.

I’m currently watching the Beckham docuseries. They mention the backlash he got for his endorsement deals and the media attention being a distraction. He knew his football career would end at some point and he wanted to create opportunities for himself after he retired from the sport. I am not saying Posh and Becks are fake because I think he was genuinely deep in it right away, despite his later extra curricular activities. I am solely talking about how he utilized the media outside of sport to create sustainable relevancy.
So yes, superstar athletes use the media and sponsorships to launch a post-sports careers. The people who say Travis and Taylor don’t need PR, really don’t get it. PR is always necessary, if you want to stay relevant. Taylor has been consistently good at it her entire career. Travis knows the exposure he will gain from this “relationship”, however long it ends up lasting, and I wouldn’t doubt if he tries for a career in the entertainment industry that will set him up for longevity after he retires from the NFL.

Taylor proving herself right, with all the hetlors (and some gaylors) shipping her and Travis before they even interacted publicly, when she sang “the only kind of girl they see is a one-night or a wife”… but only when it’s a man.
IMO, this is a textbook PRomance, like all her other famous alleged boyfriends. As blatant as all the others (and yes, I mean all of them).

I’m sad that Liz went to SoFi and Taylor didn’t bring her up on stage. It didn’t even have to be a surprise song, it could have been “Long Live”. Although, “Better Man” would have been amazing. Such a missed opportunity.
Obviously, it was unlikely to happen, but it would have been a great moment.

I wish I knew Liz was there last night. I would have been watching closer.
Liz and her friends singing along to “Enchanted”… that had to be a bit surreal for Liz, considering she was such a big part of the SN era and sang that song on stage with Taylor so many times.
I also love Liz (I think it’s her) saying “They haven’t figured it out yet” about KOMH on Greer’s Insta story… she definitely knew. Liz is the original Swiftie.
I’m also loving Liz teasing her sapphic bop. Can’t wait to hear the whole song.

Liz has been so unhinged lately and I love it.
Taylor should bring her on stage to sing Better Man or something.
At the very least, I expect Liz to attend one of these SoFi shows.

Okay, go off then, Liz.

“Boys Like You”
I can't help it, I like girls like you
But you like boys and boys like you
I know there's nothing that I can do
'Cause you like boys and boys like you, yeah
You like boys and boys like you
Hey, what's up? It's me
I'm wondering if you'd want some company?
It's been a couple days, like two or three
I miss you and I'm scared you're mad at me
It's getting late and I should probably leave
You're the only place I wanna be
Trying not to want you has me wanting you more
I can't help it, I like girls like you
But you like boys and boys like you
I know there's nothing that I can do
'Cause you like boys and boys like you, yeah
You like boys and boys like you
You've got me overthinking everything and playing cautious
Until you're dancing in my room
And you keep giving me those eyes that make me adore you
We don't kiss, we just share a spliff
And you make it hard to ignore you
You say we're friends but it's 3AM and
You lay a little closer next to me
And say that I'm your favorite place to be
Trying not to want you has me wanting you more
I can't help it, I like girls like you
But you like boys and boys like you
I know there's nothing that I can do
'Cause you like boys and boys like you, yeah
You like boys and boys like you
Hey, what's up? It's me

Some quick thoughts on SNTV:
“I Can See You” is Tayliz
“Electric Touch” is either Tayliz v Taymily (requited v unrequited) or Swiftgron v Tayliz (more likely the first option considering the clear references to “Breathe”)
“When Emma Falls In Love”, “Foolish One”, and “Enchanted” could be about her unrequited crush on Emma S.
I’m very happy that she brought Liz (and Caitlin) back for this one, but I expected she would since she had already brought her back for Red TV. I still wish we could get an actual feature, though (“Better Man” was so close), their voices sound amazing together (maybe even more so now than they did when Liz was in the band).
I do not believe in late stage anything, including Tayliz. I think the rerecording process (which probably began to some extent before the pandemic in 2020) had her reflecting a lot on the past and previous relationships/situationships. That’s why there seems to be a lot of reminiscing about and references to older songs and past relationships on folklore, evermore, and Midnights.
I haven’t felt like posting as much about Tayliz, hence why this blog has become essentially inactive, because I noticed Liz seemed like the type who would manage to stumble across the theories (not this blog in particular, just all the Twitter and TikTok stuff) and I didn’t feel like adding much more to that discussion. And, in fact, I deleted and archived some of my previous posts for that reason.
I have seen tweets the last couple days about Liz watching Tayliz stuff, so I’m not super comfortable with that (that’s just a personal thing, not an admonishing or strong judgment on anyone who feels comfortable doing so). I’ll stick to my once in a blue moon tumblr posts, where I actively avoid using last names haha.
I do think they may have had something in the past and that Taylor has possibly written songs about her and vice versa, but neither one of them have made a clear statement on their sexuality and Liz seems to be currently dating one of her longtime close friends.
I think Taylor and Liz, for whatever reason, had a little bit of a falling out around fall 2012, but are on good terms now and likely have been for many years. Liz is one Taylor’s oldest friends at this point and she (and Caitlin) was there to see first hand the transition from playing small shows in bars to selling out arenas. She’s one of her few “industry” friends who knew her and admired/supported her before she blew up, so I do hope they are at least friends at this point.
I still think Tayliz is way more likely Taylor/Martin or any of the alleged public boyfriends, slightly less likely than Taylianne, and moderately less likely than Swiftgron and Kaylor.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m like 90% convinced that they had a situationship, and at the bare minimum had a very strong romantic friendship, it’s just that I am always skeptical about everything, so unless one of them confirms it, I can’t be fully on board. At this moment, I do believe they had a situationship and that both have written multiple songs about the other and have referenced each other in music videos. I am not convinced that they ever had any kind of defined, serious, committed relationship. I definitely find Tayliz far more convincing than any of the men we are meant to believe Taylor has been attracted to.

New Liz music!!
I’m pretty sure this was originally going to be the title track of an EP she was supposed to release around 2015/16, so I’m very interested to see if there is more to come!
I can’t find the promo pic I remember seeing from what seemed to be a showcase for the potential EP/album (I swear there was an actual mock-up that included the song title), but I did find this picture that I believe was the cover:

There is also this tweet from 2016 teasing the song:

“That is so interesting”… like she is just learning this information haha. Like she wasn’t asked point blank (in jest, kind of) by Kimmel and responded “wouldn’t that be juicy? Hi, Taylor! 😘”
Honestly, though, good job navigating that question without outright saying one way or another…
Dianna isn’t wrong… she probably wasn’t actually the inspiration for 22, in the context of it being a friendship song. They should have asked about “Wonderland” (not really, though, cause that is even more invasive).

If Taylor is really releasing a memoir on July 9th, which could possibly be when she got her first official famous alleged boyfriend/beard (Joe J) and/or possibly when she started her first relationship with a woman (Julianne? Liz?), then maybe this will finally be the moment where she comes out.
Or maybe Speak Now TV on July 7th (Tell the Truth Day) will have female pronouns, or some sort of clear/undeniably gay statement, in the lyrics.
I don’t want to completely go there yet because this could easily have nothing to do with Taylor, but it is very strange that the page count adds up to 13 and the audiobook is supposedly 13 hours long. Plus the 13 years later from ATW10MV music video.
Then there’s the whole “confess my truth in swooping, sloping, cursive letters” in “Paris” (I will refrain from bringing up the potential Tayliz connections in that song at this moment). Speak Now is literally written on the album art in “swooping, sloping, cursive letters”.
The point is, after 15 years of being a gaylor, this is potential coming out #1,000. So, while I won’t hold my breath, I am still hopeful that maybe someday (and not when we are octogenarians or dead) she will make a statement about this whole thing.

Also bringing this back.
One down (thanks to Better Man).
The rest are still in play.
To be more specific, I want the Tayliz and Swiftgron 1989 rejects and the Kaylor/Tily tea on the rep vault tracks.
Things I want from the re-recordings:
"Angelina", "Me And Britney", and "Sweet Tea And God's Graces" on debut
"Better Than Revenge" with the Liz intro from the tour ("Hey, its me. Leave a message, make it hot.") and "Let's Go (Battle)" as a duet with Liz on Speak Now
Liz on Red in some capacity (other than TMIK)
ALL the 1989 rejects
The entire mystery/lost album, if one exists
All the tea from the rep vault tracks

Bringing this post back for no particular reason........
Tumblr media
Which part of the lyrics, Liz?
Tumblr media
This part perhaps?
Tumblr media
I know, I know... the song is essentially about questioning your faith or whatever. But that line in a song by The 1975 and Liz just being like "lyrics"... is kind of too good not to make a connection, even if she didn't mean it that way.

hello i love tayliz so much do u have a link to all of liz's unreleased songs? I love her music so much :D
Sorry, it's taken so long to respond.
There are some clips that she has posted on her Instagram of newer songs, but I am not sure if you mean those or the songs that were released in the year or so after she left Taylor's band.
This youtube channel posted the songs that were released in 2012/13 (they weren't necessarily "official" releases because she never put out an actual album or ep with these songs):
Here are some clips from songs that I think were possibly going to be on an ep or album that never happened:
"It's Been Real"
I’ll miss your face
But you’re in my heart
Forever and always
Yeah, baby, it’s been real
"What You Do To Me"
I’m losing all my cool
Not getting any sleep
And if you want to know
What’s gotten into me
It’s what you do to me
It’s what you do to me
"Cheap Champagne"
I don’t want to know who they’re talking about
Don’t say you’re sorry
Don’t call tomorrow
Don’t you know that’s why they made
Cigarettes and cheap champagne
Don’t get it twisted
Not gonna miss you
All intents to forget you, babe
Cigarettes and cheap champagne
All intents to forget you, babe
Cigarettes and cheap champagne
There was a clip of a song called "Good About Her" that has seemingly been taken down, but here is a comparison I made between the lyrics in the clip and some of Taylor's lyrics:
http://staging.spiritmusicgroup.com/Songs?Artist=Liz%20Huett
"Good About Her"
“Soft-spoken, sweet thing
She moves like a dream
I bet you love the respect
That you get
Don’t you?”
Feels a little “Begin Again” to me.
“She keeps it so cool
She plays by the rules”
“cardigan” voice memo:
“I knew you laughing like a damn fool,
Breaking every damn rule..”
“What a boring masterpiece”
“All Too Well”:
“But maybe this thing was a masterpiece
‘Til you tore it all up”
“Missing me,
Aren’t you?”
“betty”:
“I’m only seventeen, I don’t know anything
But I know I miss you”
“Oh, it’s almost laughable
You say you’re compatible
But she’s nothing like me
What’s so good about her?
What’s so good about her, baby?
What’s good about her?
Good about her?”
Maybe another reference to “Begin Again”??
“That time when we parked
Outside of the bar
Couldn’t wait ‘til we got home
All our clothes came off
Does she make you swear?...”
“cardigan”:
“To kiss in cars and downtown bars
Was all we needed”
“betty”:
“Standing in your cardigan
Kissin’ in my car again
Stopped at a streetlight
You know I miss you”
There was a duet on a song call "The One" she did with one of the members from A Rocket To The Moon (she also did background vocals on a ARTTM song) that he has since deleted from his soundcloud and I have no idea if she co-wrote it, but here are the lyrics, which I posted here before he took it down:
“The One”
Put on a love song
Turn it up real loud
Listen on the drive home
Take the long way through town
As you start to cry and you wonder why
You ever put it on
That love song
Pour a little whiskey
Take a seat at the bar
Wonder if you miss me
I wonder where you are
I play that memory in my mind
Of when you were mine
And pour a little whiskey
I can tell the world I still love you
And give it one more try
If you want to
But maybe me and you
Are trying to turn the moon into the sun
And I’m not the one
Like a bad dream
It happens every night
When the one thing
You want isn’t right
Every little thing I try to do
Always comes back to me and you
Like a bad dream
I can tell the world I still love you
And give it one more try
If you want to
But maybe me and you
Are trying to turn the moon into the sun
And I’m not the one
The one that you were meant to find
I’m not the one
We have tried a thousand times
But it always comes undone
So, I can tell the world that I love you
Give this one more try
If you want to
But maybe me and you
Are trying to turn the moon into the sun
And I’m not the one
I’m not the one
She co-wrote the following songs that were given to other artists:
"Dammit"
Here's a post I made about this song:
"Not Going Anywhere"
No matter the actual nature of Tayliz's relationship (friends or more) this is the one song I am 100% convinced she wrote about Taylor.
"Put My Heart Down"
There are some interesting lyric parallels to Taylor's music in this one to songs like The Story Of Us, Better Man (particularly the "put my heart down and walk away just like it was a loaded gun" line in comparison to "push my love away like it was some kind of loaded gun" - keep in mind that she did sing background vocals on Taylor's Version of Better Man and very likely sang on the demo - it sounds a lot like her - and may not have realized Taylor would ever release the song, since she wrote Put My Heart Down after Red was released), I Almost Do, etc.:
I never pictured us ever fighting this much Thought we were figured out but it's so messy now Your words they cut so deep and I think that you should leave I'll have to live without what I can't live without It already hurts So before it gets worst just
Put my heart down, put my heart down Put my heart down, put my heart down And walk away Just like it was A loaded gun Put my heart down, put my heart down Put my heart down, put my heart down And walk away This kind of love Is dangerous
So pack up all your things and just leave some air to breathe A million toxic tears falling like rain 'round here This is the final hour The end of our story tonight And I don't wanna fight
So put my heart down, put my heart down Put my heart down, put my heart down And walk away Just like it was A loaded gun Put my heart down, put my heart down Put my heart down, put my heart down And walk away This kind of love Is dangerous
Oh, it already hurts So before it gets worse I know it ain't easy But if you really loved me
Just put my heart down, put my heart down And walk away, yeah
Just put my heart down, put my heart down Put my heart down, put my heart down And walk away Just like it was A loaded gun Put my heart down, put my heart down Put my heart down, put my heart down And walk away This kind of love Is dangerous
"Don't Let It Hurt You"
"Say The Word"
That's all I can remember at the moment. There are a couple other songs she co-wrote for artists that never really went anywhere, but I can't find them right now.
I can try to make a post with some of the song clips she shared on Instagram later, but for now this is a fairly comprehensive list of songs that are out there that are not on her current profiles as "official" releases.
