            looking around when the clerk goes off to retrieve one of the guitars, she stares at all the ones on display marked with a high price, telling herself that one day she can afford one of them if she works hard enough. once he returned with a guitar in hand, her eyes widened, " wah, really ?! i could get this ? omg ! " taking the guitar from him with both hands outstretched, she beams up at the male, eyes shining with excitement, " yes, yes please ! i badly need a new one. some troublemakers on the street stopped me and stole my guitar, so. i don't have anything to use when i go busking in hongdae tonight. " and there she goes, sharing too much information about herself. " then, i will just take this. is it really only 30,000 won ? " as someone with no sense of how things are supposed to be priced whatsoever, she easily believes him. " i'm happy ! you made my day mister . . . ? what's your name ? " yuna asks, hugging the guitar with both arms and holding onto it for dear life.

 ❛  mister?  ❜    repeating  the  word  to  himself,  did  he  look  that  old?  ❛  uhm..  i  was..  anyway..  ❜  rejected  like  that,  only  being  laughed  at  was  not  the  first  reaction  what  he  was  hoping  for,  pretty  much  wishing  for  the  female  to  actually  drop  the  number  but  -  guess  this  was  another  failed  attempt  of  his  try  to  woo  someone.  now  standing  there,  arms  far  apart  and  leaning  up  against  the  counter  as  she  stands  there  before  him,  gaze  dropping  down  and  on  the  money;  knowing  this  amount  of  money  wouldn't  get  her  what  she  wanted.  ❛  aspiring  musician,  hmm?  let's  see..  ❜    moving  as  he  walks  around  the  counter  and  towards  the  acoustic  guitars  resting  on  the  wall,  seeing  the  big  prices  and  he  knows  any  of  the  instruments  weren't  cheap.  picking  a  black  acoustic  guitar  off  the  wall,  hiding  the  price  tag  with  a  simple  tug.  ❛  you  could  get  something  like  this,  what  do  you  think  -  do  you  like  it?  ❜  and  river  already  knew  he  would  be  taking  rest  of  the  price  off  his  paycheck.

            the way the worker greeted her caught her by surprise, staring up at him vacantly for a little before breaking out into a fit of chuckles, laughing into the palm of her hand. " wow, you're super funny, mister ! " chucking it up as his normal greeting and completely ignoring it, she starts to look at the guitars on display, pouting as her eyes settle on the prices. " i reaaaally want to buy a new acoustic guitar . . hmm, what can i buy with . . . " pulling out her wallet from her bag, she opens the coin purse and takes out all the coins, dropping them on the counter as well as a couple of bills, " um, 30,000 . . won ? " her tone serious, brows even furrowed together, now looking back up at him with much hope.

 few  customers  coming  and  going,  leaning  up  against  the  counter  there  and  chin  resting  on  the  palm  of  his  hand,  other  hand  drumming  fingers  against  the  surface  out  of  habit.  hearing  the  door  going  and  opening,  back  straightening  as  seeing  a  female  walk  in;  letting  her  look  around  before  clearing  his  throat.  ❛  welcome  -  let  me  know  if  there  is  anything  you  need..  like  violin,  guitar..  perhaps  my  number?  ❜  obviously  not  wanting  to  miss  his  chance  of  throwing  it  out  there  in  front  of  a  beautiful  female.  ❛  oh  god  why  did  i  say  that..  ❜  mumbling  to  himself,  mouth  moving  faster  than  his  brain.

small update !

ooc: hello hello everyone ! vi hereee ♡ my apologies for being snail pace slow over here and that i haven't been around that much. life's been getting in the way. but really, i'm here to update you guys and say that i've recently quit my part-time job as it has really been taking a toll on my mental health. this also means, i will now have more time to write. really feeling like a big weight has been lifted off my shoulders, seriously. now that i only have one job to worry about, i feel so relieved hsjfjksdfh yay !!! tl;dr ⸻ come december, i will have more time to write and i'm very excited for that. expect more replies from me within the next few weeks ! here and on @itgirlnrg as well ♡

            yuna could only hold her head upon hearing this, " anju, what — okay, so, as much as i am all for drinking monster, " because she's sponsored by them, " that is not a meal my darling. come on, let me treat me you to something nice ! what do you want ? i'll get you anything, anything at all ! it wasn't that she wanted to lie -- anju would never voluntarily! but remembering did pose a bit of a problem. she pursed her lips, eyes glued to her newest sewing project: an intricate veil, courtesy of one of her favorite video game characters.             it was as if her lips were just permanently in a frown, huffing out a big breath of air once she settled in the seat across from him on the table, " i — " her words get caught in her throat, she hated feeling anything that would constitute as a negative feeling.

" i guess, i mean normally, i don't let hate comments get to me, " placing her chin on the palm of her hand, she continues, " but today, they got to me, and i'm mad at myself for letting them get to me. "

it was to the point that she had to stop her stream early just because she was feeling affected by all the negativity in her chat.

" sorry for just throwing all of this at you, ben. " releasing another sigh, she tilts her head, " are you sure it's okay for us to be seen out like this, though ? it just hit me that we're out in public. "

"—Yeah of course, make yourself comfortable — I'm just about done with this anyway," he reasoned, shutting his laptop and waiting for her to take a seat before sitting once more himself. There would be rumors to deal with from this, but that was a Future Ben problem. For now his friend needed an escape, and he'd help however he could. "I can't promise this will be much more normal than you're used to," he admitted with a sheepish chuckle and scratch at the nape of his neck. "Everything alright?"

            she had been searching high and low for the owner of the photos that she saw in the school exhibit. if anything, yuna was just thankful for the fact that she had enough connections to be able to track him down. as the photographer emerged from the back of the club room, she couldn't help but jump up and down, " ahhh finally !! i found you, kino ssi right ?? " a big smile can be seen, giving him a once over, yuna didn't know what she was expecting in terms of how he looked like, but it definitely wasn't this, " are you the ones who did my friend's photographs for the school exhibit last week ? i've been so desperate for new headshots that i could use for my socials, and i will not be settling for anything less. " practically reaching over to grab his arm, she begins to shake it, " will you help me ? i'll pay you a big amount. you name it. any amount. okay, maybe not any, but you get what i mean. "

" imparting one of her pro tips in life, she let out a gasp, " ohhhh have youuu now ?? are you going to be carrying me this time ? i'm excited ! "
