Now is a great time to pick up New Vegas on the PC because there is a modding renaissance right now since modders have finally figured out how to add new character animations - which is something people had a hard time with before. Now there are tons of incredible gameplay mods coming out that put the games clunky gameplay on the par of more modern games. Like animations for picking items up, opening doors, a side dash button, a sprint button, hotkeys, and lots of other cool little things.
