you lack empathy and that's probably why you think you'd make a great lawyer. you simply don't understand feelings. they're messy, complicated, and are just a bother to deal with. it doesn't make you a bad person. it just makes relating to other people that much harder. it's not your fault you can't sympathize with someone when they're sad or you don't get why love is suddenly the thing that makes the world go round
THE CATCH: you got in but your best friend didn't. they weren't mad but moreso disappointed in themselves. you didn't bother to tell them that you may have had an advantage because your mom met the head of admissions one too many times. you firmly believe you were accepted because you have the grades for it.
HOW DO YOU KNOW MARIPOSA?聽the week before her accident, she bumped into you at a local coffee shop. she made a snide remark on how parents would do anything to give their children everything and how those that are still relying on them, specifically their mothers, should be ashamed of themselves. when asked what she meant, she merely shrugged, "accidentally" spilled some of her latte on your shoes, then walked away.

what's the age range for the skeletons?
Since it is post-graduate schooling, there's no limit as to how old your character can be. Realistically, they would be over the age of 22-23 so they would have graduated from college/university.

Down the line, there could be a possibility of professor roles to be made available. Right now, the plot focuses on the students but depending on how the story progresses with events, tasks, etc., we may open up those characters.
