*gets suckerpunched by a killer robot wearing human skin*
*recovers within minutes*
*survives a car crash unscathed*
*immediately steals some rando's bike and drives it over said killer robot*
*discovers a smol innocent child who is also a killer robot*
*actually attempts to fight killer robots including shooting one in the gut twice*
*unscathed by getting the shit kicked out of her and watching one of those killer robots vomit up bullets*
*upon rescue by her gal-pals, immediately suits up despite presumably being in absurd amounts of pain*
*oneshots a boss monster*
*acts like this is completely normal shit to go through on a Saber job*
You know, a lot is made of Priss surviving absurd injuries in Red Eyes, or being fine after having her arm broken by the spidertank in Double Vision, but she goes through way worse in Tinsel City and just kinda shrugs it off.
I feel like there's an extremely funny explanation for this somewhere. Either Priss is the secret Boomer and not Sylia, or she's got covert chrome that would make David Martinez blush, or she is genuinely, inhumanly Built Different. I should think on this.

“cyberpunk future where you need to make payments on your cybernetics or they get repo’d” is good, but doesn’t go far enough. consider cyberpunk future where the terms of service restrict how you can use your augments and implants — your prosthetic hands physically quake and lock up if you try to use them for things your medical company deems “a risk factor” (which somehow includes protesting the very same biomedical conglomerate), and your eyes automatically blur information that tells you how to improve or update augments yourself. but even surrounded by this much greed, widespread underground communities exist of people helping one another jailbreak their titanium bodies, recapturing the autonomy corporations have methodically stripped away from them.

When I say "when it comes to Type-Moon lore you should think about the whys and not the hows" I mean things like it's absolutely pointless to ask "How did Merlin get Saber and Fate route Shirou to meet again in Fate/Stay Night's epilogue? That should be impossible." and I'm sorry but you're never going to have a real answer to that beyond Merlin vaguely saying "You must be able to wait forever and he must chase you forever"
Nasu never bothered thinking about the how at all. The reason it can happen is because Fate loves the idea that the connection between two souls can exist as a fundamental force of the universe that rivals space and time, and Merlin is a fuckin wizard. To love even as time has stripped their name and face from you, to have forgotten everything but the knowledge that there was love once, wouldn't it be beautiful to witness it outlast eternity? Wouldn't it be beautiful if for your whole life and afterlife you become a nameless, wandering hero, only for the star you've been chasing forever to finally call you home by name?
There is no real answer for How. All there is, is symbolism of the story's themes and a participating wizard.
How did Mash come back after being incinerated by the fire that burnt all of time? Her heart never wavered which meant her shield never did, proving that she too could be every bit a hero as all the souls saved in the Throne despite having never lived a normal human life, and this act moved the heart of a creature every bit a Beast as the demon that destroyed all of time. Why and wizard.
How does Hakuno even manage to summon a servant and participate in the Moon Cell Holy Grail War despite actually being an NPC and thus not even being alive and human? Well Fate/Extra wants you to question what being "real", being human, really means. If you wish to live, enough to cry for help and for a hero to come to your rescue and to feel gratitude to them, does that make you human? When you fight for your life in a death game even when you realize there's no existence for you outside of the machine, are you human? Why, and a conceptual, really big wizard in the Moon Cell.
How did Mikiya meet the manifestation of the Root and be offered a single omnipotent wish? Well you see everybody in this entire literary world kills each other and all passersby for a chance at glimpsing the source of all existence so it would be incredibly ironic if a normal ass man who's sole thing is being a wifeguy and getting beaten up a lot is offered the entire universe by doing nothing, thanks to his wife turning out to BE the Root itself, thus being the wizard behind wizards.

A. Okay, you've got me. I'll give Claymore a shot on that description alone. Was already curious.
B. BGC as shonen yuri instead of cyberpunk yuri or mecha yuri is an interesting take. Could you elaborate further? There's yuri stuff in there for sure, but...

Last night I was trying to parse whether or not Homestuck was good for me in my formative years as my first real 'fandom' before I latched onto Warframe and then BGC, and weirdly enough I think I liked it but never engaged with the fandom enough for it to really warp my perception of media. Probably helped that it fell off post-GO, and then kinda disappeared into the night.
Then again, I think my immense love for JohnVris has probably had an impact on the type of ships I like in anime and other stuff. Whether or not said impact is, um, good? Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Let me get back to you on that.
Anyway. Happy 4/13. Ten years ago we were deep in the asscrack of the Gigapause and slowly going collectively insane. We could not have anticipated what would come next. Perhaps that unknowing was for the best.

A non-exhaustive list of things that happen in Warframe out of context:
(Spoilers, if you can even tell what I'm talking about)
An ultracapitalist warlord is harrasing cyborg kids for a comic book. You can help the kids by pulling sick skateboard tricks. The reward is a playable magical girl (who also pulls sick skateboard tricks).
A megacorporation has made the stock exchange into a bloodsport.
Your grandad tries to corrupt a computer. The only way to stop him is by jumping into cyberspace and blasting orchestral dubstep at him.
A room on your ship has been taken over by talking cancer cells. This is entirely beneficial to you.
An autistic child figured out who the main antagonist of the universe is. Some people did a cult about it.
The Pope of Capitalism is hiding in his own pocket dimension. You fight him by throwing a disc at ghosts.
Some of the characters you play have built-in weaponry. One of them has a built-in cat.
The alternate reality version of you has been trapped in a storybook fighting a one-person rebellion against a mad child king.
Sometimes you get attacked by the pinnacle of edgelords who is also your grandad's boytoy. He is a pushover, but somehow his disciples aren't.
You gain the ability to own and pilot a big ship. For unexplained reasons the ship is powered by a mummified finger in a jar.
One time you pilot a robot ghost to fight soldiers in space while a ship captain sings a shanty at you.
Turns out your adoptive mother is really your adoptive mother masquerading as your adoptive mother. Her ex blames you for this.
The final objective of a climactic story mission involves you helping your mother fight her abusive ex and preventing the corpse of your grandmother from eating the sun.
The leading scientist of a now long-dead empire has gone missing. You need to help his husband and their three talking pets fight living mannequin arms using a spellbook.
Time travel exists, and its main purpose is to stop Y2K, which actually happened.
