Shadow (ASC) spoilers

I read it! Had thoughts! Spoiler talk below!

Now that Sunbeam and Nightheart are in the same clan I’m twice as disinterested in their drama. I liked Sunbeam trying to deal with her mom being awful and I liked the prologue. But it does make me worry that them giving her flashback means that they’re gonna try to redeem her which I don’t like. Let me have a villain with a tragic backstory who stays a villain! Let Sunbeam have an actual conflict with her mom being awful forever! Also warriors has never been great at redemption stories in general. As much as I’d like a good redemption story I don’t want it for Berryheart.

I liked this weird reoccurring bit that Tigerstar does dad jokes and nobody laughs. Like every single time nobody laughs. It’s so funny why does it happen like 3 times.

Nightheart… don’t care. Don’t care. Don’t care. Don’t care. moving on.

Frostpaw. I enjoyed her chapters the most, like last 2 books. I thought it was interesting that she’s training to be a warrior now as opposed to becoming a medicine cat after being a warrior like what keeps happening. big spoiler warning! I wish we had made a little more progress on the mystery but other than that I very much enjoyed what they did with splashtail. For the most part anyway. I feel like he thinks he’s a master manipulator but he’s being soooo obvious it’s hilarious. That being said, I actually really liked that we got the reveal before we got the scenes of him trying to convince Frostpaw to become a medicine cat. It made those scenes way more uncomfortable - knowing he saw her as easy to manipulate and seemingly doesn’t care about her at all. And poor Frostpaw thinking “I bet he wants to date me when I grow up” Made me squirm. Was unexpectedly effective. The scene where she tells him about the vision and knowing he’s probably the one who did it, knowing he’s gonna do something awful but being helpless to stop it. Made me very unhappy to read. Pretty good.

I get that they try to make the chapters go in a certain order of POV characters but the third to last chapter being Frostpaw fucking dying (???) was super weird. Like I’m sorry Nightheart broke up with you Sunbeam but a child is fucking dead. The scene with Lightleap and Blazefire trying to cheer up Sunbeam was actually pretty cute but then she left them forever I guess. Sunbeam and Nightheart are both disasters I swear.

also, Squirrelstar hype??????? Let’s go?????

In closing I enjoyed Shadow. Not the best of Warriors ever but there’s stuff to like.

So, yeah. This is downright disgusting.

TLDR: Sagutoyas, the Multi-Animator Project animator and host, has been accused of romantic interaction with a minor while she was 21 and the victim was 17.

I have a hard time believing it was a joke as the DMs and such say. The one making the callout claims to have permission from the victim to post all this.

Pretty disheartening and sickening to see. I hope the victim is okay.
