The Cube
I’m always wondering why there is no games using smartphone as a controlling device. Like Ubisoft did with Just Dance on Wii U : using smartphone as controllers is pretty clever because nowadays, everybody have one so it’s cheaper than buying a new controller for the Wii U. I’m also convinced that it can be a unique way to play local cooperative games in a simple way.
In this project, I experimented with the Socket.io. library to make a controller for a game on pc directly by going to a website on your smartphone. You are in fact loading a web page containing the controller and sending infos via websockets to the unity desktop application. This is just an experiment but this can be adapted to a massive amount of player and it it really accessible (loading a page on your smartphone is easy).
Here is the game :

As a final project we made a Sci-Fi game in Augmented Reallity, I had the role of lead developer and we had a very good team of 9 people. Again, very intersting to work with many different people. A game we made using the Google Tango Technology alowing us to spatialize virtual objects in the real world. You can find all the infos on Google Tango here. Quick overview of the game here :

For the Global Game Jam 2017, we did a game about music and waves. It’s a platformer where you can switch between musics and when you do so, you can see different platforms. Also, the beat of the music starts a light wave from you which helps you see your surroundings. I focused here on the beat analyser because the beat of the music is analysed in real-time. I also did the lighting and the pulse waves of the game. Here is the project page hosted on the Global Game Jam website.
