took a days leave because i needed a break.. and its chucking down with rain outside and im all cosy with my blankets at home. It’s lovely.

Had a new guy start his volunteer work with me last week. He is just finishing up college and getting some work experience. He has some people from the college come with him to make sure he’s okay because he has autism and sometimes needs the extra help getting settled. But he seems like a pretty cool dude. I like him.

But that does mean im now supervising two guys at my site and that’s all new to me. All good for the resume though I guess.

When I think about who I was a decade ago, it’s unthinkable that I would end up here. I must have done something right.

went bowling with work last night, i miss my homies since working at a different site so we stayed to play another game. as expected, i am terrible at bowling. condra drank like a fish and was drunk by half 5. so i drove them back to ellies and took like 5 minutes parrallel parking, not done that since my test. We had a little smoke and Condra insisted he needed tea and bed so stumbled home.. i was fucked after like two tokes and was thoroughly invested in disney’s robin hood and how awesome Ms. Cluck the chicken lady is. We had Maccys and watched some weird freaky friday type film that was terrible enough to be good lol. And like, yeah, for all my social anxiety, it is actually soo nice to spend time with people you like and have a good time. So yeah, I should really make myself say yes more often to social stuff. People are good and life is short.
