free time during the week? almost unheard of! yet here we are!!!

(a/n): i just thought i should clarify — the first person bolded sentences is the “things you didn’t say at all” portion of the request!! i hope u enjoy this uwuwuwu

i’m in love with you.

jisung’s thoughts were running 100 miles an hour as you dragged him around the han river. he couldn’t seem to shake from his mind how stunning you looked today - and every day. how soft your hand felt, wrapped around his wrist. how your smile rivaled the sun’s beams of light. how -

“‘sung! what kinda ice cream do you want?” your voice ripped the boy free of his thoughts, allowing him to register the question you just asked. he internally cursed you, his mind wandering to admiration of you once more.

“cookie dough!” jisung never wanted anything more than to slam his head against the concrete sidewalk. the shakiness of his voice when he responded rang in his ears - how haven’t you noticed how much i love you?

he watched as you nodded enthusiastically before turning back to the vendor, pointing out the flavors that you wanted. you grabbed the two waffle cones, quickly thanking the man behind the cart before making your way to jisung’s side. handing him his ice cream, you flashed another blinding smile at the boy, using your free hand to hold his wrist hostage once more. he whined as he walked behind you; you rolled your eyes as he continued to complain about “losing his right to autonomy” and “being treated like a toy.”

“you should be thankful you even got ice cream, you dick! i could’ve let you starve to death, but did i? nope! ‘cause i’m the best person ever.” your voice rose an octave as the last statement left your lips. a boisterous laugh followed, easily throwing jisung’s heart around in his chest. you are the best person ever. i wouldn’t love you this much if you sucked.

a wooden bench entered your line of sight, making you let out a squeak of excitement. god, your feet felt like falling off - maybe taking jisung on an outing around the han river wasn’t the smartest idea.

you plopped down and fervently patted the vacant spot next to you. you watched as your company sat down, almost instantly becoming one with the bench as he slid down it; you couldn’t help the fit of giggles that overtook you at how weird jisung looked. “you look like a worm.”

“am i an attractive worm?” jisung looked up at you as best he could, letting his “infamous puppy eyes” - words you said to him on multiple occasions - cross his features. your hand left your lap to pat his head. “the most attractive worm i’ve met. so far, at least.” your voice took on a teasing lilt, which turned into a surprised yelp when jisung moved from his spot, reaching over to smush your body against his. “the most attractive worm you’ll ever meet, thank you very much.”

your arms instinctually wrapped around the boy’s waist, something you’ve done almost every time he’s attacked you with a hug. considering this, jisung should be used to it. he shouldn’t have sparks consume his body when you do this. he shouldn’t want to kiss you. and he definitely shouldn’t want you to be his.

but he does.

jisung’s body was frozen underneath your touch; he, honestly, could’ve rivaled the greek statues from pompeii. this alerted you that something was up. something was wrong with jisung. and it was your obligation to find out.

“‘sung, you good? you kinda… froze up on me just now.” an awkward breath of a laugh filled the sudden silence that formed around you and jisung.

no, i’m not good. i keep falling deeper and deeper in love with you, with every damn thing you do, and it’s kinda freaking me out.

you watched as jisung turned to face you; your eyebrows furrowed as you took in the look on his face.

you… couldn’t pinpoint what, exactly, he was feeling. it worried you more than anything. what’s bothering him so much?

fuck it.

“(y/n), you gotta promise me you won’t hate me after this.” the boy in front of you watched as concern continued to paint your expression.

“hate you after what, ‘sung? you’re worrying—“

your eyes widened as you felt pillow-soft lips come to rest against yours. it took you a moment to process what was going on. the weight of his actions slammed against your mind as soon as you realized this was real.

jisung was kissing you. those are his lips on yours.

you felt his lips leave yours the second you closed your eyes. a soft breath fanned across your face, jisung keeping close to you for a second before completely pulling away.

“hate me after that.” you heard him speak, his voice barely coming out. you opened your eyes to meet the gaze of the boy that laid his lips upon yours seconds before.

“i could never hate you after that.”

once you returned home, your body collapsed onto your bed. as you were rolling over to make yourself comfortable, a ding! left your phone’s speakers.

you picked it up, entering your passcode to be greeted with a text from the boy you spent the rest of the day falling harder for.

a blush spread across your face as jisung’s next text illuminated your screen.
