It’s been far too long since I’ve visited Miraculous Ladybug artwork, I’ve been so focused on making a variety of prints and working on my own projects.

chat blanc headcanons (fair warning, they’re all sad as is par for the course):

he liked to flick his bell because at least it was something other than just the sound of his own voice. it was bittersweet knowing that’s where the akuma lived, though

more times than not, his ears would lay flat against his head in fear

adrien thought he was long over his fear of thunderstorms. when the first storm rolled around some time after his akumatization, he realized how wrong he was

he’d always wanted to announce his love for his lady from the rooftops for all to hear. unfortunately, yelling “i love marinette dupain-cheng” to an empty, echoing paris was nothing like he’d imagined. if anything it was more like a nightmare than a dream come true

he never did get around to asking marinette if she’d written the poem. the most he could do was wonder restlessly what her answer might’ve been, repeating her words routinely so as not to forget them

adrien sometimes would mistake his tail’s flicking movements in his peripheral vision for company

after months of not needing to feed his kwami, the smell of camembert faded. he never imagined he would miss smelling like stinky cheese

one of adrien’s favorite things about his appearance was how he had his mother’s eyes. it made him feel a little more comforted on days when he missed her, plus ladybug’s compliment of them had always stuck with him. when he saw blue eyes staring back at him from his reflection in the waters of a flooded paris, it pained him to realize that had been taken from him

sometimes he would visit the ruins of the school and think about how his entire life changed—and truly began—on it’s front steps all those months ago. seeing what it became after having been a beacon of freedom to him for so long was devastating

over his months alone, he tried detransforming more times than he could count. every time it was unsuccessful. he just wanted to see plagg...
