Stage Right Secrets: INTRODUCING SMITHFIELD
Have you had the pleasure of getting familiar with Smithfield yet? No worries, the find folks at Stage Right Secrets have you covered. Read more about how a random reconnect  on Facebook led to a musical journey for Jennifer Fielder and Trey Smith.
"One of the many things that sets SmithField apart from other duos in their genre, is the way they present their music to their fans. “We don’t think what we do is as much about the message, as it is the feeling,” Smithfield said. “That feeling when you’re about to go out on a Friday night. Or that feeling when someone catches your eye, and for a few seconds, your mind’s going crazy. That’s what we’re trying to make people feel in a song.”

Whiskey Riff Exclusive: Meet Rising Star, Aaron Parker
"Aaron Parker is an artist you should get on your radar, NOW. You can thank me later for that. The young rising star is all sorts of talented and I was thrilled to speak with him about his music, his journey, and even some pet peeves...Here was our conversation…"
Who were some of your biggest influences growing up and who do you look up to now in the business? Garth Brooks, young Tim Mcgraw and Kenny Chesney are probably my biggest influences towards my music and show, but I got started on Alan Jackson. He’s the Alabama boy’s George Strait. I look up to the same guys, but I also love what my peers are doing, stretching the boundaries and trying new things, its always inspiring to see us grow together.

"You may have heard the single “Love You Like That” lately — in fact, if you’re a country fan, there’s no doubt you have. What you might not know is the man behind the track is up-and-coming artist Canaan Smith, who just earned his first No. 1 on Billboard’s country airplay chart. After recently topping the charts and releasing his debut album, Bronco, Smith might just be the rising star of the summer. SheKnows, however, wanted to get personal with this "nitty-gritty boy," as he coins himself in his hit, and we were left feeling more starstruck than ever. "
