Mao Mao Pride Week 2020

Hello, everyone!

Happy Pride Month!! To all of you out there, especially our black LGBT people. We love you and please stay safe and strong, we stand with you through these times. Please remember to still spread help for Black Lives Matter during Pride !

Recently, I've gotten mentioned in an idea to host the Mao Mao fandom's first ever Pride Week prompt event. Similar to my previous events such as for Valentines and Easter. Of course, I thought it was a great idea, so here I am to host! 💖

There are 8 prompts listed for the event! The rules are simple : Anyone can join at any time. You can use OCs, canon characters, ships, etc. For this list, ANY of your headcanons for canon characters can be used for this too! You can do one day, all of them, or just a few here and there! Whatever makes you happy! ❤

Hey adorabat, is there anything you particularly remember about your old home, maybe your parents? What they looked like maybe? Like small little details you know.

Okay, we are finally getting Adorabat’s father in a full drawn reveal. So here he is! Okay, for context, the last panel does take place right after the “Ode to a sweet encumber” animation. If you haven’t watched it, go and check it out, it’ll definitely help explain some things.

So Mao Mao, he’s a bit of a point of intrigue here as well, he’s finally having to face the very real father figure Adorabat had at some point, something i’m very much looking forward to in the show, but for now, I shall explore here. 

Anyways, that is all the questions in my askbox! As always, I will be announcing when I will open the askbox again soon, so be on the lookout for that. That’s to everyone by the way, who’s stuck around for all of this! It really means a lot!

Little Mao Mao: Young Heroes of Pure Heart!

Just a silly little idea for an ageswap AU!

Basically, the premise of the story is still closer to canon, with Mao Mao still being the protagonist! Sort of like a coming-of-age story, haha. Additional concepts include:

Adorabat has been the sheriff of Pure Heart Valley even before the kids stumbled into the kingdom.

Bao Bao may or may not be with Mao Mao and Badgerclops when they came into Pure Heart Valley.

Adorabat still has a carefree and bubbly personality, although likely more different as she grew up without knowing the concept of truly being a hero before meeting Mao Mao.

None of them are amputees (except for Adorabat) … yet.

Anyhow, I suppose that’s it for this AU concept! I thought that it’d be interesting to imagine what it’d be like to alter the story just by tinkering with their ages, haha.

(I believe that there are other similar concepts like this within the fandom, but this is just my personal take on it! I just really liked the idea of an ageswap AU.)
