I haven't posted in an insanely long time but I've just had a constant avalanche of stuff to do I've never really found the time to post. I've just paid my ucas application so I've found a little breathing space to post.
had a really productive day and even still managed to stick to my new routine :)! I study norwegian and read two articles for my phd every day and it really pushed my project forward :D!
Tuesdays are for copying notes from my favourite course – Theory and History of Translation. Definitely happy for how they're turning out and how much I'm interested in the subject. I decided to include a little time-lapse of my writing process (under the cut), and a picture of my generous breakfast – composed of a slice of home-baked ricotta plumcake, a mug of English Breakfast, and some tea biscuits.
Here's the timelapse :) My handwriting looks neater from this angle I believe?
3rd December - What is your least favourite thing about winter?
this is kinda a new thing but this year i haven’t really enjoyed how early it gets dark. i don’t know why but this year it’s had an especially big impact on me, probably because i’m not in school anymore so it kinda effects my day a bit more
if you could magically get rid of something about autumn, what would it be?
definitely the unseasonably warm weather! i want it to be coat and sweater weather already, and every time it’s warm this late in the year it just reminds me how much we’ve messed this planet.
Seven nights in a row was tough, and I’m oh so glad to be on the other side of it. 😅

Also I don’t know how I got from a clueless PGY1 who was so intimidated by critical care to a PGY3 who can deal with severe ARDS patients and who’s teaching others about med, but I guess that’s what growing is!

Tell me what’s happening with you! I feel like I’ve been in a completely other world in the past week 😂
some japanese notes and the cliché little bujo spread i made. i love the washi tape!! i’m trying to incorporate more positivity into my everyday life. not forcing it though, just like trying to find something good in small, ordinary things. autumn is actually full of those when you stop to look.
