Gradient of land should be in north-east direction and from the boundary of four sides, south-west wall should be tall & thick.
Drainage should be in the direction of east or north.
It is particularly assumed to be good if a house has open space around the house or the whole extent of the house as it is a sigh of enough air flow through the buildingWhen it comes to planting in or around the house there is some myth about not to have trees or plant in house. But actually it is not true. It is good to plant trees or small plants in your house but yes big tree should be planted south, west or south-west direction and small plants in north, east or north-east of the house
