Here’s the eyes I was teasing!! They come in all 75 WMS colours as well as 24 supernatural swatches I made. Both cat eye and regular versions are done!

And here’s what you’ll get with my supernaturals! BOTH the regular and cat eyes come in all of these same variations.

*I know that the swatches on Narnia and Magic carpet show some asymmetry. This was fixed in the actual eyes!

Autism Acceptance Month

Autism Acceptance Month: I'm a mom of a daughter with Autism. She is beautiful, creative, smart, funny, caring, kind, and loving. She has one of the biggest hearts I have ever seen. She has a love for animals and people. I know it can be difficult with her social anxiety, meltdowns, noises, and how people treat her but, we work through it together. I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful daughter. I accept her, support her, and love her just the way she is. I hope that all people with Autism will get acceptance and support they need.

“Hi! Can I have your number?” Asks Phoenix.

“Why?” Asks Brent.

“Well, since this is a park and people come here to play, I thought I could set up a “play date” with you.” Replies Phoenix. 

  “Sorry, I’m already unhappily married.” 

“Oh my goodness, I shot my eye out!”

Another bad CC hair day and a salty man always makes a good screenshot. 

Not sure what this young lady and bear are talking about, but I don’t think she’s very happy about it. 

Nope, I was right. She is looking at me like, who the heck is this bear and why is it in here?

“What? What did I say?”

“Get over here right now lady! I mean it, I want you to come over here so I can bite you.”

“Hmmm...Phoenix you’re having a wardrobe malfunction. Here, I’ll try and hide you until you fix it.” Says Nigel.

“Oh, really? Didn’t notice. I just put lotion on my hands and I don’t want to get it all over my clothes. Do you think you could help me fix my malfunction?” Asks Phoenix, smiling from ear to ear. 

“Sure! Wardrobe, could you come and help Phoenix? Says Nigel. 

I guess he didn’t fall for that one. Smart man. 

Phoenix at it again. Trying to flirt with one of Squirrelwithacup’s sims, Alexander Wesley. The poor man couldn’t even take a shower without Phoenix walking in and out of the bathroom watching him. Then he comes over and well you see what he’s doing. Enough said. lol

Mamasquirrel’s Simetics Simedy Short Stories: Chapter 7 of Series 1 “Luminous” Finale part 5

Fornax and his family keeps their promise to return and visit. They spend time with friends thanking them and telling them all about their adventure traveling the worlds. 

They wanted to thank Amelia for all of her help too. She was so happy that they had found their parents and everyone made it back safe. 

Nigel decided to sell his bed & breakfast and move to San Myshuno. The moment he laid eyes on her, he knew she was the one. He had fallen in love with Sabrina. She had been one of the vampire life forms that they rescued that day. She had no family to go home too, so Reaper asked if Nigel would let her stay there until she was better. Of course, Nigel agreed. When he opened the door to let her in, she took his breath away. He took care of her everyday for weeks, but he didn’t mind. Just from helping a group of friends, he had found his soul mate. When the story got out about all that had happened in that strange little world, everyone wanted to come there and visit. His little bed & breakfast became the talk of the town and very busy. That was great for business, but he didn’t care about the money. He had someone he cared about way more than that. That’s when he decided to sell it and with the money, he built homes for all of his Alien friends, donated money to the hospitals to help fund technology advancements, and bought a penthouse for him and Sabrina.They now work with Reaper and Caleb as special agents. They work to make sure all worlds are better and safer to live in. They’re making plans to get married in the fall.

Vastra moves into a new house that Nigel had built for her in her world. She adopts a little dog she names Vela, who is her best friend. She continues to open here door for anyone who needs help. She now works as botanist and helps provide Carafe and Fornax with natural and cleaner ingredients for medicine. She continues to work with Reaper in finding families of the missing and expired. 

Carafe keeps her promise to the dog she met in park in Brindleton Bay when they were traveling the worlds, that she would come back and find her someday. 

Carafe did just that and more. She took that sweet dog home with her. Fornax was so excited when Carafe brought her home. Now they had a four legged friend of their own. The whole family loves her so much and she loves them too.

The Luminous family went back home to Sixam, where Fornax and Carafe were held as heroes. They come and visit their group of friends from time to time, but really miss them when they have to go back home. They decide they want to live closer to their group of friends. Nigel has them a house built too. They go back to Sixam during the summer to spend time with friends there. Carafe continues her work as a scientist and Fornax is working on becoming a doctor. They both want to help people after seeing the amazing technology in that hospital. The siblings are working together as a team to help other hospitals advance their medical technology too. It’s going to be amazing to see what these two will do for future of science and medicine. They have been training for several months with the doctors and scientist at the base. They want to learn all they can about bringing more advanced ways of healing to all worlds. Their parents, Grus and Lyra, opened a therapy center for all life forms. Their dog Halley is a therapy dog there. 

Fornax makes sure to visit Vastra and her pup Vela when he can. 

Fornax and his sister Ursa are doing well. They didn’t return to Sixam and continued to live with Nigel until their house was built. They live in a cute little house near Vastra. Ursa has made a miraculous recovery and is a typical 16 year old who likes hanging out with friends, music, and reading. Most important she loves spending time with her big brother. She works a part time job babysitting and take online classes. She hopes to become a veterinarian someday. She wants to be the vet for the therapy animals and take care of them. Fornax has been his own mission. He’s still looking for the person who was blackmailing him with his sister’s life. He is determined to find them and bring them to justice. He is working with Reaper and detectives to do just that. He works mostly from home so he can be there for his sister. She still has nightmares of her ordeal. She too went though a similar experience as Grus and Lyra. Her experience was a little different to say the least. She was child injured and surround by complete strangers. She didn’t know where her family was and even where she was. She too was put in a chamber to better her chances of survival from her injuries.   

While she was going through months of therapy she met Ty. He is the son of one of the therapists that worked with her. They became friends pretty quickly. He would read to her almost everyday for months. He would sit by her bed and hold her hand when she would have a nightmare until she fell back to sleep. That’s what friends do for each other. That friendship, however, grew into much more. Ty knows he loves her with all his heart and that she feels the same about him. 

The teenage sweethearts make a promise to each other. Never take each other for granted, always be honest with each other and love each other. Ty is planning on going to college too. He wants to be a physical therapist like his mom. They both have goals and ambitions, but someday they would like to get married. I know these two will do wonderful things in life and always be there for each other.

Phoenix keeps himself busy with taking care his sister, working as an agent, and his vast number of lovers. 

“I still don’t understand why Caleb won’t call me or text me about a date? We work together now on assignments, we get along great, and he knows how I feel about him.” Says Phoenix. 

“Just face it bro, maybe Caleb just isn’t into tentacles.” Replies Ursa.

“Wait, how do you know about tentacles? Hey, come back here! I’m not done talking about tentacles.” 

In the end, it’s just about a group of friends.

Mamasquirrel’s Simetics Simedy Short Stories Simlit: Chapter 7 of Series 1 “Luminous” Finale part 4

“I’ve been expecting your call. Good! What? Where? Get out of there now! I’ll be in touch soon!”

“Reaper, I just heard from our agent. They are still in place, but there’s a big problem.” Says Caleb. 

“What might that be?” Asks Reaper. 

“They would only tell me that you’re needed on location ASAP.” Replies Caleb. 

“If they need me on location, that can’t be good. You know what to do here. I’ll be in touch.” Says Reaper. 

The group of friends open the door and head down the stairs connecting to other rooms. 

“Lets take a look around to see if we can find anything.” Says Fornax. 

The group of friends check out each room one by one. 

“This room is a kitchen.” Says Vastra. She looks around in every cabinet and finds nothing out of the ordinary. 

“Nothing here but just everyday kitchen stuff. So, this room is clear.”

Fornax takes the next room. 

“This is a dinning area. Nothing here either. This room is clear.”

Carafe enters the next room.

“This is just a bathroom. I don’t see anything in here. This room is clear.”

Phoenix checks the foyer area. He spots something. 

“Hmm...I don’t see anything around this area either. It’s all clear here too.” Says Phoenix.

“Everyone lets go back to the door. From this point on, we need to stick together.” Says Fornax. 

Fornax opens the door. They go inside. 

“Wow! Look at all of this stuff.” Says Vastra.

“Let’s look around.” Says Carafe. 

“Look at all of this high tech equipment. I wonder what it’s for?” Asks Fornax.

“What is this place?” Asks Carafe.

They move to another area of the large room. 

“What is all of this” Asks Fornax.

“It looks like equipment used in hospitals” Replies Vastra.

“Why would this place need hospital equipment?” Asks Carafe.

“I don’t know, it doesn’t make sense unless...” Says Vastra.

“Unless what?” Asks Fornax. 

“Unless this is a hospital. This place has to be a hospital. It has the proper equipment for treating life forms, it has beds over here.” Replies Vastra.

“A hospital? Are you sure? Why would they need a hospital here? Are there anyone in the beds?” Asks Carafe.

“The beds are clear. This is a military base. I don’t know much about the military, but maybe this is where they bring their soldiers if they are wounded.” Says Vastra.

“I don’t know anything about the military, but maybe that’s possible. Let’s keep looking around.” Replies Fornax.

“Yes, this is definitely a hospital. They even have beds for babies here.” Says Vastra.

“Are there any babies in them?” Asks Carafe.

“No, they’re clear.” Replies Vastra. 

They see another door. Not knowing what is on the other side of the door, they carefully open it. 

Behind the door is a long dark hallway. They stay close together and walk to the end of it. 

They come to another door that requires the key card. They know that with each door they are taking a chance of getting caught. They need to be ready if they do. 

‘I tried. I really did. I guess, It’s hopeless now.’

They open the door and are shocked in what they find. 

“These are human life forms right?” Asks Carafe.

“Appears that they are.” Replies Vastra.

“What kind of beds are these? I have never seen anything like it before?” Asks Fornax. 

“I don’t know, I haven’t seen them before either.” Replies Vastra. 

“Are these viable human forms?” Asks Carafe.

“No, they appear to be expired life forms.” Replies Vastra.

“We need to continue to look around for anything that can tell us what is going on here.” Says Fornax.

“Look around with the expired humans in here? It just makes me really sad.” Says Carafe.

“I know it’s not easy. It’s not easy on any of us, but we really need to try and find more answers and our parents. They may not be here, but they are somewhere in one of these worlds. We can’t give up hope.” Replies Fornax. 

“You’re right, we need to keep looking.” Says Carafe, smiling at her brother. 

“Okay, lets look around and check everywhere for anything.” Says Fornax.

“This is empty. There is no life form in it.” Says Fornax. 

“Wait, I think I found something! These beds connect through the wall to something. The top part when I touch it, has energy coming from it. The middle part connected through the wall, I’m not sure what it does.” Says Vastra. 

“Connected through the wall...we are under the strange flower right? Where it’s connected to all of those machines?” Asks Carafe. 

“Right, we are! If these beds are connected to those machines and those machines are connected to the strange flower, then these beds are being used to give that strange flower something.” Replies Fornax.  

“But what?” Asks Carafe.

“That is what we need to find out.” Replies Fornax. 

The group of friends approach another door. 

“Do you hear that?” Asks Carafe.

“Yes, I hear something.” Replies Vastra. 

“Do you know where the sound is coming from?” Asks Fornax. 

“I believe it’s coming from behind the door.” Replies Vastra. 

“It sounds so familiar?” Says Fornax. 

Fornax tries to use the key card, but it doesn’t work. He tries again, but it still doesn’t work. 

“Does this card have a limit on it?” Asks Fornax. 

“No, these cards don’t have limits on them. That’s credit cards that have that.” Replies Vastra, giving out a snicker. 

Fornax tries one more time and like magic it opens. They look inside and are astounded by what they see. They can’t believe their eyes. Are they dreaming? Is the strange smokey substance from earlier messing with their minds again? 

In front of them is a room filled with various life forms all contained in a watery substance in special chambers. 

“Please tell me you are seeing them too! I just can’t believe my eyes right now!” Says Carafe. 

“Yes, I’m seeing the life forms too.” Replies Fornax. 

“I hope these are viable life forms.” Says Carafe.

“These appear to be viable life forms that are just in a deep sleep.” Says Vastra. 

“What are they doing here? We need to split up and check them. See if we recognize any of them. Look around too and see if you can find anything.” Says Fornax. 

The group of friends check each life form. 

“I don’t recognize any of these.” Says Carafe.

“Okay, keep checking them.” Says Vastra.

They move around the room to each life form. Hoping to find at least one they might know. To no prevail, they can’t find anyone they recognize. 

“Fornax come quick! It’s....It’s our father!” Yells Carafe. 

“What? Are you serious? He’s here?” Asks Fornax, barely able to keep his composure. 

Carafe catches something out of the corner of her eye.

“Fornax, it’s our mother too!” Exclaimed Carafe. 

“I can’t believe we found them! They are both here! We need to try and find a way of getting them out.” Says Fornax. 

“I don’t know why they are in these chambers, but what if something goes wrong?” Asks Carafe.

“It’s a chance we’ll have to take. I’m going to look for something that can help us get them out. You stay here and I will be back in a couple of minutes.” Replies Fornax.  

Fornax heads for the door and is taken by surprise. 

“Not so fast! You aren’t going anywhere!” Exclaims Phoenix. 

“What are you doing, Phoenix? Why won’t you let me leave? We have to get help or find something to get them out! Please, Phoenix!” Begs Fornax. 

“You can’t, I won’t let you. I can’t take that risk of something happening!” Replies Phoenix. 

“What risk would you be taking?” Asks Fornax. 

“It doesn’t matter. I don’t want to use this on you, but if I need to I will. I want the three of you to line up and walk out of this door. I will follow behind you. You keep walking until I tell you to stop.” Demands Phoenix. 

‘I hope you can forgive me someday. I have to do it.’

“Okay, no need for that anymore. We will comply.” Replies Fornax. 

“Don’t you dare try anything or I will use it next time. I don’t think you would want something to happen to your precious little sister would you?” Asks Phoenix. 

“No, no need for that! I understand.” Replies Fornax. 

“Good, I’m glad we have that understanding. Now, I’m going to open the door and you move out.” Says Phoenix. 

When Phoenix turns away, Fornax tries to take a run for the door. 

“I thought we had an agreement Fornax? Now, you have gone and done a naughty thing. I guess you need a lesson in listening? Maybe your sweet sister should take the lesson for you! Hmm....who to pick?” Says Phoenix.  

“You will pick no one Phoenix! It’s over! Put that down!” Demands a deep dark voice from behind him. 

Phoenix knows exactly who that voice belongs to. He could never forget that voice. Not even after all these years. 

“Reaper!” Says Phoenix. 

“Phoenix, you have to let them go and you have to get out of here now!” Says Reaper. 

“Why should I listen to you?” Asks Phoenix.

“If you don’t, you will all die! Even your sister, Phoenix. Do you want her to die too? This place is going to explode at any moment.” Explains Reaper. 

“Explode? This place isn’t going to explode. You’re lying!” Says Phoenix. 

“If I were lying, do you think I would be here? Remember what I do for a living, or do you need a reminder?” Asks Reaper. 

“You have a point, but how do I really know you are telling me the truth?” Asks Phoenix. 

“Phoenix, this is not the time to play “truth or dare” with me. If you don’t trust me, everyone will die. Is that what you want? Can you really afford not to trust me? Remember, I was the one who helped save you 7 years ago when your family crashed in one of my worlds. Have you forgotten about that?” Asks Reaper.

“No, I remember very well. You took my parents from me and you are behind all of this. You took my sister from me too. This is why I don’t trust you. This is why I hate you. You took everything I had from me. Left me alone with nothing and no one.” Replies Phoenix. 

“There was nothing I could do for your parents Phoenix. It’s my job to reap the souls of the departed. They were gone and there was nothing I could do to bring them back. You had only minor injuries, but you needed medical attention. I contacted the hospital myself and my dear friend Vastra to help you. Like I explained before, your sister wasn’t there. It was just you and your parents when I arrived. I had nothing to do with the disappearance of her.” Explains Reaper. 

“Now that I have found her again after all these years, no one is going to stand in my way of getting her back.” Says Phoenix. 

“I don’t want to stand in your way of getting your sister back, but if we don’t hurry you won’t have that chance. Think about Vastra too, Phoenix. She has been really good to you these past 7 years. She has taken care of you and provided for you. She has been a good friend. She has helped you in every way she can to find your sister.” Says Reaper. 

All of a sudden they hear a loud explosion and then another one. They can feel the building start to shake. 

“We don’t have much time left! I promise that I will help protect all of you for as long as I can if you hurry and get everyone out now.” Says Reaper.   

With that, Phoenix agrees.

Carafe and Fornax carry out their parents first. They will get them to a safe place and come back for the others. Phoenix takes his sister out. He can’t believe how much she has changed and grown. She was just 8 years old then. He can’t believe that he finally has his sister back. 

They hear another loud explosion and this time it’s even closer. The building shakes and pieces of the ceiling start to fall.

“Hurry, this way. I know a shortcut and a much safer location to take them. Follow me! Once you have them to safety, I will come back and open the rest of the chambers for you. It will be faster that way.” Says Reaper. 

The building begins to crumble and fill up with smoke around them. 

“It’s too dangerous to go back in there. We have our families and almost everyone out. I don’t think we should risk going back in.” Says Phoenix. 

“I agree, it very dangerous, but they deserve a chance to be back with their families too. I’m going back in to at least try.” Replies Fornax.

“Let’s go, Fornax!” Says Carafe.

Fornax, Carafe, and Vastra head back down to try and rescue the remaining life forms. 

“I can’t see in here. It’s so hard to breathe, too.” Says Carafe.

“I don’t know where to go. I can’t see anything either.” Says Fornax.

They hear a familiar voice speak out to them. 

“Get down on your hands and knees and stay as low as you can. It will help with your breathing. Don’t try and talk, just follow the sound of my voice. I will guide you back to the others.” Says Reaper. 

They get back to the room and grab the remaining life forms. 

“I want you to run as fast as you can. I know it won’t be easy with carrying someone, but you must try. I will help guide you back though.” Says Reaper. 

They all run as fast as they can back towards safety. They hear another explosion and part of the building starts to cave in around them. Carafe falls to her knees to try and protect the life form she has. She is getting hit by debris. 

“Carafe!” Yells out Fornax. “Reaper, It’s Carafe! She’s down!” 

 “I will go back in to get her, but I need to get all of you out first.” Replies Reaper.

Once Fornax and Vastra make it out, he rushes back in after her. He grabs her by the hand.

“Are you okay? Do you think you can walk?” Asks Reaper. 

“My arm is hurt, but I’m okay. I can walk, I think.” Replies Carafe.

“You lean on me, and I will carry out the life form.” Says Reaper. 

Reaper lifts the other life form over his shoulder. He takes Carafe by the hand and leads them to safety. 

“I have to go back in one more time. I have to finish my job. There are three souls still trapped in there.” Says Reaper.

“Trapped?” Asks Fornax.

“Yes, the three expired souls.” Says Reaper.

He heads back in and releases their souls from the bondage they’re in. Then he reaps and sets them free to the Netherworld.

He then uses his own disappearing act to leave the building. With a quick spin of his scythe, he finds himself back outside with everyone.

“Now, let’s get everyone taken care of.” Says Reaper.  

The siblings check on their parents.

“I wish they would wake up! They’ve been asleep for days.” Says Carafe.

“I know, but the doctor said it could be awhile before they do. I’m just glad they are okay.” Replies Fornax.

“Me too!” Says Carafe.

‘I’m so glad that you are back home. I know you will have a long road ahead for recovery, but I will be with you all the way.”

Several more days go by and yet they still sleep. 

“Ursa! You’re awake!” Exclaims Fornax.

She holds out her hand for him to take. She yet can’t talk. Her voice has been silent far too long.The hospital has been sending doctors and nurses to care for them everyday here. The doctors told Phoenix that she will have to learn how to do things like walk and talk again with therapy. He doesn’t care how long it takes or if she ever does. He is just happy to have his little sister back and he will take care of her either way. 

“You’re awake!” Exclaims Fornax.

“Mom! Dad! So happy to see that you’re okay. We have missed you both so much.” Says Carafe. 

The family have a sweet reunion and are so happy to finally be back together. 

Their parents will need more time to heal before heading back home. Ursa will need months of therapy before she can go back home too. Nigel offers for them to stay there as long as they need until everyone is better. 

Over the next few months, everything comes to light. Phoenix goes to Fornax and Carafe and finally tells them the truth. He tells them that one night his family had went out driving around on the spaceship. His father was trying to teach him how to drive it. Something went wrong and they crashed. When he opened his eyes, there was this dark figure with a deep dark voice standing near by. 

“I watched this dark figure take my parents’ souls. I knew that they were gone. I looked around for my sister. She was no where to be found. The next thing I remember, is being in the hospital. Vastra was the first person I saw after I woke up. She took me in and has been there for me. She told me that if my sister’s soul had been reaped, there would have been a urn left. There wasn’t one there. It was just my parents’ urns. I was determined to find my sister and this dark form. I just knew he had been the one that caused all of this. I guess, I was wrong. He had been the one to help me. I thought for sure he was the one that had taken my sister. I now know I was wrong about that too. I’m so sorry for not being truthful and for my behavior. That person that was blackmailing me as Nigel calls it, was threatening to kill my sister and the others if I didn’t try and stop you. I did what I did because I was trying to protect them. Again, I’m very sorry. She’s all I have left. I couldn’t risk her life. I was trying everything I could to keep you from getting any information. Even all of that flirting was part of it.” Explains Phoenix. 

“You’re wrong about that, Phoenix! You have all of us, too! Of course we accept your apology. We understand why you did what you did. If we had been in your situation, we may have done the same thing. So, you only flirted with all of those men just to keep us from talking to them? You weren’t interested?” Asks Carafe. 

“No, I was interested in a couple. Okay, several.” Replied Phoenix, laughing. 

“Let’s just make a promise between friends, that we will always be honest with each other from here on out, okay?” Says Carafe, laughing too. 

  “Okay!” Says Phoenix, smiling and happy that they forgave him. 

Fornax uses this time to lean what he can about the hospital that they found their families in, and what exactly happened to his parents that night. 

He learns that his parents had traveled into the other worlds just to stargaze for part of their date, when a really bad storm came up. Lighting hit their spaceship and they crashed. The next thing his parents knew they were surround by different life forms trying to help them. They had gotten some pretty bad injuries and some that needed surgery. His father had taken a turn for the worse and his mother was not doing well either. The doctors told his parent’s they were going to put them in a deep sleep. Then they were going to put them in a special therapeutic chamber filled with a special water. It was going to help them heal and stay alive. They would get oxygen from the special water and they would feed them through a special tube that come into the chamber. This is the only way they had a chance to survive. It could take years for their bodies to heal completely, but it’s their only chance. They would keep an eye on their progress through special computers. When they were better and ready, they would help them get back to us. 

What he had also learned, that this hospital tired to help people with experimental medicine. They couldn’t let people know about it. It was way to advanced for the hospitals right now anyway. It’s wonderful in the progress of medicine and science they have made there. Although, he also learned the down side to it as well. Those special beds were used to hold the souls of the expired until or if they could find their families. If they found them, they would give the soul and body back to the family for proper reaping and burial. Unfortunately, if they couldn’t find the family within six months, they would have to dispose of the body. The soul was then released to be forever bound to these world as a ghost. Then their plasma and other body fluids were drained and used as food for that strange flower. That’s what those connections were through the wall. They were feed lines to the strange flower. The energy that Vastra had felt when she touched the bed above, was from the soul of the expired. 

 ‘One of these days, I will find you! When I do, you will pay!’ Thought Phoenix. 

Six months has passed for the group of friends and their families. Carafe and Fornax and their parents are doing great. Their parents can travel back home to Sixam now. 

Phoenix and his sister are doing well too. Ursa is walking and talking now. She has made great progress. She is doing better than the Doctors ever expected this soon. She can go back home to Sixam as well. 

“Thank you so much for everything. I don’t know how we could ever repay you for all that you have done for us. You have truly been a wonderful friend.” Says Fornax.

“I’m just happy that I could help. Don’t forget me okay! You can come and visit anytime. The door is always open for you and your family.” Replies Nigel. 

“Thank you, and we will be visiting again someday. I promise!” Replies Fornax. 

The friends share one last hug before Fornax and his family leaves for Sixam. 

“I guess this is it, then. Take care of yourself.” Says Nigel. 

“I guess so, I will and you too.” Replies Phoenix. 

The two friends part ways and Phoenix enters his spaceship. They give one last wave goodbye to Nigel and close the door. 

“I think I better drive, you two might get the notion to stargaze again.” Says Fornax, laughing. 

The spaceship spins off past the beautiful horizon of the sky into vastness of stars and space to home.

Mamasquirrel’s Simetics Simedy Short Stories: Chapter  of Series 1 “Luminous”Finale Part 3

The group of friends reach the base and try the key card the scientist gave them. 

“It worked! What...What is those floating things? Asks Fornax. 

“I don’t know.” Replies Vastra. 

“Okay, let’s stick together and watch out for each other.” Says Fornax. 

They head down the stairs and come upon a room. 

“What is this place?” Asked Carafe. 

“I’m not sure, but here is one of those plants and it’s growing.” Says Vastra. 

“I think I should be the one going the rest of the way. It might be dangerous for all of us to go. Why don’t the rest of you stay here and look around.” Says Phoenix.

“No, I’ll go. I have the suit and if something were to happen, you both are better equipped to get Carafe to safety.” Says Fornax, giving a reminder look to Vastra of her promise. 

While the others look around, Fornax puts on the strange suit and heads down to the next level. He encounters more strange flowers. These remind him of home even more. 

‘Could all of this really have something to do with plants?’ 

‘Could the young man that gave me part of this suit been right too? Could my own life form have something to do with this?’

‘Now, I understand what Nigel meant by this place leaves you with more questions than answers.’

‘What have I stumbled upon? I guess there is no turning back now.’

Farnax makes his way down to the next level. There, he finds the strangest thing of all. He knows he shouldn’t take the suit off, but he will need to use his jet pack to get back upstairs faster. 

“You have to come with me. I found something you need to see. Use your jet packs and when you come to a room full of a smokey substance, hold your breath and fly as fast as you can to the next room.” Exclaimed Fornax. 

They all turn on their jet packs and enter the door way for the stairs. 

“Remember, hold your breath and fly when you get to that room. Even with the suit on, I felt a little dizzy from that substance.” Says Fornax. 

They all nod in agreement and follow Fornax down to the see what he has found. 

“What is that thing?” Asks Carafe.

“What is it doing here? Asks Vastra. 

“I don’t know.” Replies Fornax. 

“I think we need to take a better look at it. I will use my jet pack and fly down below it. I want to see if I can find anything there.” Says Vastra.

“It’s attached to several machines down there. I don’t know what they are or how to read them. I don’t want to turn them off either.” Says Vastra. 

All of a sudden the strange flower begins to attack them. Fornax is hit by it’s powerful tentacle and he falls to the floor. He is knocked unconscious. When he comes to, he’s not acting like himself. He is acting very strange. Carafe decides  to try and make an experiment that will help him. This is her brother and she has to try and do something for him. She quickly makes a concoction hoping that it will work. It’s all she has and it has to work. 

The concoction worked. Fornax is back to himself. She makes more of the concoction and gives it to the rest of them. She hopes it will help protect them from this thing. They see another door and try and get to it, but every time they get near it, the strange flower grabs them back. They know that if they want to see what is behind that door, they will have to try and fight and destroy the strange flower.

“Okay, we will have to take it from all angles. I will stay here and the rest of you surround it.” Says Fornax. 

“Everyone ready?” Asks Vastra.

“Let’s do this!” Says Carafe. 

The group of friends work together to fight the strange flower. The strange flower fights back and is not so easy to give up. Finally, the group of friends defeat it. 

Now, they can see what is behind that door. What will they discover? 

Oh no! 

Whatever it is, they better hurry!

Mamasquirrel’s Simetics Simedy Short Stories: Chapter 7 of Series 1 “Luminous”Finale Part 2

Phoenix talks to Nigel for a couple of minutes before they head to the bar.

“Do you know what those strange flowers are that are growing everywhere? I have never seen anything like them before, yet them seem strangely familiar.” Says Phoenix. 

“I don’t know what they are. When I moved here, there were only a few. Now, they’re everywhere. They have never changed any. They have always looked like that since I can remember. Do you think they are a clue? Ask Nigel. 

“Not sure yet. Maybe, we can look into it more later.” Replies Phoenix. 

The group of friends find their way back to the bar. They decide to try and talk to every person they can that comes in. Fornax says he is going to try and talk to the person he saw when coming in.

“Hi! I’m trying to find out any information I can about missing people. Do you know or have you heard anything about that? Asks Fornax. 

“Sure I do, it was Aliens. They beamed them up and never brought them back. I heard they are using them for testing chewing gum.” Replies the young man. 

“What? Aliens took them? I can assure you that we didn’t take them and we don’t have them. You think we are keeping them to test what? What in the floopy is chewing gum?” Asks Fornax. 

“You’re an Alien? Look man, please don’t take me too. I can’t test gum for you. These are not my real teeth. They are fake. I can’t chew gum because of that. So, you have no use for me.” Replies the young man, hoping the Alien buys his lie about his teeth. 

“You can keep your teeth in your mouth. I don’t want them to test this chewing gum stuff. I don’t want to beam you up either. I’m just wanting to find my parents who were taken too. I also, want to try and help find the other missing people as well.” Says Fornax. 

“Really? Phew...I can tell you about a military base near here. You might want to check it out. Just be careful though. If they catch you, I don’t know what they might do. They seem pretty secret about it.” Says the young man.

“Thank you! I promise we will be careful.” Replies Fornax.

“When you have had a chance to look around, come back here and I will see what I can do to help you more.” Says the young man. 

“Will do and thanks again.” Replies Fornax.  

“Reaper, hi it’s me! Can’t say much, don’t know who may be listening. I’m on my way over now.” 

“Thanks! I will bring Lilith too then. Thanks again for allowing us to crash at your place for a few days until things blow over. We will be there shortly.” 

“The door is open, just come on in and I’ll be upstairs waiting.” Replies Reaper. 

“Okay, be there soon.” Says Caleb. 

The group of friends wait until it gets dark before checking out the military base. They made sure to wear their jet pack suits, just in case they need to make a quick get away. 

“It’s clear on this side. How about your side? Asks Carafe.

“Clear here too.” Says Vastra. 

“Let’s move to the fence together real slow. Try and keep yourselves down low.” Says Vastra. 

The group of friends make it to the fence without being seen. 

“Everything looks clear. Okay, let’s move towards the building.” Says Carafe. 

They make it inside the building without being detected. They talk about the strategy they want to take. 

“We need to split up. Everyone take a room and look around to find clues. Be quick about it and careful. Don’t know if someone is here or will be here.” Says Fornax.  

Fornax finds a picture. He can’t believe what he is seeing. It’s a very fuzzy and blurred picture, but it looks like...it can’t be! Is it? 

Carafe finds a piece of paper with weird numbers on it. She puts it in her pocket to look at later. 

Phoenix excuses himself to the bathroom for privacy. He sends a text simply reading, “Still trying.” 

Caleb and Lilith Vatore reach Reaper’s house. The mansion is called the “Clock tower.” It’s a reminder of how short life really is. With every stroke of the hand, a life ends. Then Reaper must do his reaping of your soul when your time is up. 

“Reaper, we’re here.” Says Caleb, yelling from downstairs. Caleb makes his way up the stairs. Caleb looks around, but doesn’t see Reaper anywhere.

“Reaper?” 

“BOO! 

“Reaper! You scared the floopies right out of me. You know I hate it when you do that to me. Are you trying to kill me by scaring me to death or something?” Exclaimed Caleb. 

“I’m sorry, but you know I had to have a little fun with you. I just can’t help myself you know.” Says Reaper. 

“I know, plus I wasn’t really that scared. Actually, you didn’t scare me at all.” Says Caleb. 

“Yeah right Caleb, you know I got you. I got you so good you might want to check your pants my friend.” Replies Reaper, laughing hysterically. 

Caleb couldn’t help but to laugh too.

“Could you please take that outfit off now. I thought we had a deal. You wouldn’t wear that around me. Makes me think you are coming for me.” Says Caleb

“This better my friend?” Asks Reaper. 

“Yes, much better. Thanks” Replies Caleb. 

“Okay, what is it you need to tell me?” Asks Reaper. 

“I think I have a lead on who might be part of the missing souls.” Says Caleb

“Really? Good job! Now, we need to send out one of our agents.Then, just sit back and wait.” Says Reaper.

“I sent out our best agent a few days ago. I wanted to make sure we didn’t loose any valuable time or leads. Our agent made contact early this morning. They’re in place.” Says Caleb. 

“Perfect! Great job again my friend! We just track and wait.” Replies Reaper. 

“Yeah, wanna see what face you made when I “didn’t” scare you?” Asks Reaper. 

“Seriously, Reaper? You have it on camera? I should have known.” Replies Caleb. 

“Sure do! Let’s have a look shall we?” Says Reaper. 

“You only do this so you can watch it over and over. I know you. What am I going to do with you?” Asks Caleb. 

Reaper let’s out a big laugh and heads towards the computer. 

“By the way, are you going to grill steak and make your famous pie tonight?” Ask Caleb. 

“Absolutely my friend, just for you.” Says Reaper. 

They both take a seat by the computer. They wait for word from the agent while watching the tracker. 

The group of friends go back to the bed & breakfast as the sun comes up. They didn’t want to get caught. They make plans to return tonight. They go over what they found while at the base. 

“What do you think those number mean Fornax?” Asks Carafe.

“I’m not sure. Do you think that picture I found could be them?” Asks Fornax.

“Maybe? It’s so blurry I really can’t say.” Replies Carafe. 

“Let’s go downstairs for some breakfast. I’m starving.” Says Fornax. 

“We’ll be down in a minute too. I just wanted to show Phoenix the picture again.” Says Vastra. 

“Oh, okay! See you in a few then.” Replies Carafe. 

Nigel comes up to tell them that breakfast is ready, but doesn’t want to interrupt the conversation he is hearing. He just decides to listen at the door instead. 

“Phoenix, why haven’t you told Carafe and Fornax?” 

“It’s me! Right! You still have my word. I promise I will try harder. Just don’t....” Says Phoenix, as he hears the voice on the other end go silent. 

The group of friends decide after breakfast to go back to the bar. They have several hours to kill until dark. They want to try and find these military personnel too. Vastra approaches a cantankerous gentleman sitting at the bar. Just as she begins to ask him questions, Phoenix then decides he wants to try and charm him like a cat does a bird. 

“Hmm...No!” Says the gentleman. 

“I was just trying to be friendly.” Replies Phoenix. 

The cantankerous gentleman gets up and leaves before answering any of the questions. 

Vastra finds what she believes to be military personnel. 

“Do you have any information on the missing people?” Asks Vastra. 

“How do you know....Hmm...no, I don’t know anything.” Replies the military personnel. 

“Do you know anyone who might?” Asks Vastra.

“Maybe some scientist might. I don’t know..” Replies the military personnel. 

Fornax asks around until he finds a scientist. 

“I was wondering if you know anything about missing people?” Asks Fornax.

“Have you checked out the military base?” Asks the scientist. 

“Yes, as much as we could. We can’t get in the other doors. They are locked.” Replies Fornax. 

“There’s probably nothing there to find, but I will give you a key card to get in. Please don’t tell anyone I gave it to you, okay?” Says the scientist. 

“Thank you and you have my word on that.” Replies Fornax. 

The group of friends decide to go back and talk to the young man that Fornax had talked to before. 

“I have more information and questions for you now.” Says Fornax. 

“Let’s hear it.” Says the young man. 

“We went to the base and found these items. Do you know what they are or mean.” Asks Fornax, showing them the items. 

“Not sure, but here I want you to take this with you.” Says the young man, pulling out a strange looking suit. 

“You will need to ask a scientist to help with the rest. Make sure to wear this when adventuring into the lower levels of the base.” Says the younger gentleman. 

“Thanks, I will make sure to do that.” Says Fornax. 

“Now, what else could I help you with?” Asks the younger gentleman.

Phoenix takes this as an invite to make his move. 

“Hi there handsome! Have anything I could turn on?” Asks Phoenix, winking at the young man. 

“Maybe!” Replies the young man, blushing and smiling at Phoenix. 

The group of friends asks more scientist about helping them get the parts they need for the strange suit. They finally get what they need and it’s almost dark. They head back towards the base. 

What will they find if anything on the lower levels of the base? Will they be caught? Who can they trust?

World 8: Final World “Strangerville” 

The group of friends reach the last world. They know they have to give their all here. This is the last world. There is no where else. They have to find as many answers as they can here. Only time will tell if they will find them. 

They go into the local bar and talk to the bartender. They tell him of their journey so far. They ask him about any information he may know about missing people.

“Let’s see, missing people? There’s lots of strange things that go on here. You hear lots of rumors about lots of stuff. If I were you, I would asks some of the military personnel. If you come back in a couple of hours, there will be some here. In the meantime, I have a friend that owns a bed & breakfast. I will give him a call and let him know you are on your way. He will give you a place to sleep and meals free of charge.” 

“Thank you very much for your help. We will be back then in a couple of hours.” Says Carafe. 

The group of friends head towards the bed & breakfast. 

They reach a very lovely looking house and go inside. 

“Hi! You must be my guest. Welcome to Strangerville Bed & Breakfast!” 

“I’m Nigel, the owner. Please come in and make yourself at home.”

The group of friends tell Nigel about their journey and everything they have learned. 

“I don’t know where to tell you to start, but it seems that this place leaves you with more questions than answers.” Says Nigel. 

“I will be in my room if you need anything. Please let me know if you do.” Says Nigel. 

“I think we should turn back. Like Nigel said, there are more questions than answers here. I don’t think this place will help us. I don’t think we will find anything here. Maybe, we should retrace our foot steps elsewhere.” Says Phoenix. 

“You might be right, but I’m not leaving here before we at least talk to the military personnel first. If we get nothing, then I think we should consider leaving and retracing.” Replies Vastra. 

“I think it’s a waste of time, but agreed.” Replies Phoenix. 

“Come to think of it, I might know something that could help. I have only lived here for awhile, but these unmarked trucks come in and out here about every month. Not sure what they are hauling, but it’s always at night and always a military vehicle with them.” Says Nigel. 

“I don’t know what the military is. They are not in my world. Is that not normal then?” Ask Carafe. 

“It’s normal for trucks to come here and bring supplies to the military, but usually they are marked vehicle. Plus, they are not followed my military vehicles either.” Replies Nigel. 

“What do you think this means?” Asks Carafe.

“I think it means there is something going on here very strange. Something they don’t want the people of this world to know. They are hiding something really big. What that is, I don’t know.” Replies Nigel.

Carafe was speechless. She could feel her heart skip a beat, from the thoughts that were racing in her mind. 

“I hope you find your parents and the other missing people, but be careful. If there is something big going on here, they will try and stop it from coming out. Just keep that in mind. Okay, I’m going to cook dinner now. If you need anything, I will be in the kitchen.” Says Nigel. 

The group of friends sit down to the nice meal that Nigel had cooked for them. They talk over what they think would be the best plans keeping in mind what Nigel had said to Carafe, to do. They decide after dinner, they would go looking around and take in some of the scenery. Then they will go back to the bar. 

“What is this? I have never seen this kind of flower before. It kind of reminds me of home.” Says Carafe. 

Carafe takes a picture of the strange flower. Fornax talks to the others about what they should ask the military personnel. 

“Promise me that no matter what happens, you will look after Carafe. You will get her back home again someday.” Says Fornax.

“I promise.” Replies Vastra. 

What will the group of friends face next? Where will all of this lead them?

World 6: “Brindleton Bay”

The Group of friends reach their next world. They decide to take some needed rest. They see some people gathered and places they can sit, so they decide to go there.

“Carafe, there is someone watching us!” Says Fornax.

“Watching us? Where?” Asks Carafe.

“Behind you. Don’t turn around. We don’t want them to know that we have noticed.” Replies Fornax. 

The group decides that it would be best to separate and talk to as many people as they can here. Carafe sees that they are still being watched. 

They spread out and start up conversations with anyone that will talk and listen. They tell their story, their travels between worlds, and show the picture to many people. 

“I have heard, about a world that is well...a little strange to say the least. I have never been there, but I know a few people that have. I heard, that whatever is going on is top secret.” Says the young lady. 

“Do you know where this world is? Asks Carafe.

“No, but keep moving with your travels. I’m sure you will get to it.” Says the young lady. 

 “Yeah, here is one of those 4 legged creatures like we saw the night we crashed.” Says Phoenix.

“Yes, a dog. They are companions or pets as Vastra calls them, for all life forms in these worlds. She said you pet them and love them. They can show love back too. I wish our world had them. I think they are cute and sweet.” Says Carafe. 

“Think we could sneak and take one home with us?” Asks Fornax.

“I wish we could Fornax, but our would has no way of sustaining their life form. I guess, we better enjoy them while we are here.” Replies Carafe. 

Fornax has really taken a liking to these 4 legged creatures.

“You know, I have been thinking of getting a dog. I really like them. I just wanted to wait until I got my own place someday. If you and your family ever want to visit my world again, you can stay with me and then you can play with my dog.” Says Vastra, as she smiles with trying to hide her inner thoughts. 

“Really? That sounds great, but what if we don’t...” Says Fornax.

“Hey, we will find them. Don’t give up now and don’t give up hope. We still have a few worlds to travel and more clues to follow now. We are getting closer. I just know we are.” Replies Vastra. 

Phoenix talks to several of the locals and asks them questions. He asks about their world and if they know any missing people. He didn’t learn very much, but he did get a couple of flirts in. 

Before they head off, Carafe makes a new friend as well. 

“Awww...aren’t you the sweetest thing. I wish I could take you home with me. Maybe someday, I can come back and find you again.” Says Carafe, to her new doggie friend. 

The group of friends head over to the Museum to look around and to get something to eat. They really needed this time in this world to gather themselves for the rest of their journey. 

Dear Diary,

Mom and Dad,

   We have traveled many worlds, yet still haven’t found you. We have found many interesting clues, ideas, and life forms along the way. I can’t wait until we find you, so we can tell you all about it. There is one clue that really stands out to me, the world we still have yet to travel. Not sure what we will find if we get there, but I hope it’s you.

  URSA! It’s only a matter of time! No turning back now!

“What if it’s to late?” 

World 7: “Del Sol Valley” 

The group of friends find a gym to shower and nap. Phoenix talks to a older gentleman to see if he has heard anything. 

“Have you heard anything about missing people around this world or any world for that matter?” Asks Phoenix. 

“Sure, I’ve heard lots of things.” Says the older gentleman. 

“Like what” Asks Phoenix. 

“Oh, probably mostly rumors, but I heard it has something to do with plants.” Replies the older gentleman. 

“Plants? What does missing people have to do with plants?” Asks Phoenix.

A young lady walks over after overhearing the conversation. She doesn’t say anything, but she gives the older gentleman a quick stern look. 

“Oh, like I said, it’s probably rumors and I have said enough already.” Says the older gentleman, as he puts his hands over his mouth to keep from saying more. 

The group of friends head over to the lounge/bar to get some food. They talk about what they have learned so far. 

“Wow, there is a celebrity here!” Exclaims Vastra. 

“A celebrity?” Asks Carafe.

“Right...you don’t know what a celebrity is in your world. They’re a famous person. They are a big deal in other words. I can explain more later, but go take a picture. I’m sure your parents would love to see it. Plus, it will be a memory/souvenir for you.” Says Vastra. 

Vastra takes a picture of this “Celebrity” as her brother looks on. Fornax tries to figure out what makes him such a big deal. 

‘He looks like any other human form. I don’t see what the big deal is. Does he poop gold or something?’ 

“What? It wasn’t me! You think I flirted with him and that’s why he left. I don’t flirt with every guy I see. Okay, most guys I see and I didn’t flirt with him.” Says Phoenix, ‘this time.’ He thought. 

The group of friends have a good laugh and enjoy some music before traveling to the next world. Will the clues lead them in the right direction? Will their friendships be tested? Will they ever find the missing? Will they finally make it home?

World 4: “San Myshuno”

The group of friends find themselves at the karaoke bar. A young lady approaches them. “Would any of you like to participate in karaoke night? The winner gets all the free drinks and food until the bar closes.” Asks the young lady. 

“No thanks, but by any chance do you know anything about missing people?” Asks Carafe.  

“After I sing my song, I will come and talk to you. Is that okay? Ask the young lady. 

“Sure!” Replies Carafe. 

The group of friends listen to everyone sing. They all seem to enjoy it for the most part. 

“Yes, we are in San Myshuno. No, I don’t think so. I see. Is there not another way? What if I don’t...no, please...you have my word. Just don’t, please!” Phoenix hangs up the phone. ‘What have I gotten myself into, Ursa? I hope for your sake and mine I can find...” He tries to bring his thoughts back to his quest at hand.  

“You want to know about the missing people right? I can’t tell you much about them. Just careful on who you trust. Even your friends.” Says the young lady.

“My friends? Why my friends?” Asks Carafe.

“That is all I can give you.” Replies the young lady, as she leaves.

The group of friends grab some lunch and decide where to go next. They go over all the clues and conversations again. Hoping to fit pieces together. 

“The young lady at the karaoke bar said something kind of strange to me. She told me to be careful of who I talk to and trust.” Says Carafe.

“That’s not strange Carafe. I happen to agree.” Says Fornax. 

“Yes, but even my friends? What does she mean by that. The only friends that are with us is them.” Replies Carafe.

“I don’t know, but it’s nothing I’m sure.” Says Fornax. 

Phoenix couldn’t even look at them. He only could hold his head down, pretending not to overhear their conversation. He’s hoping they didn’t notice his pallid face. 

World 5: “Forgotten Hollow”

The group of friends arrive in Forgotten Hollow. Fornax decides to look around for a few minutes. They’re not sure where to go. It’s such a small world. No bars, cafes or other business establishments. 

All of a sudden, Phoenix sees someone coming towards him that looks familiar. It’s the barista he had given his number to. 

“Hi! Nice to see you again! Says the very handsome and soft spoken young man. 

“Nice to see you again too.” Says Phoenix. 

“How is your journey going in finding their parents? By the way, my name is Caleb Vatore.” Says Caleb, as he extends his hand.

“My name is Phoenix Mars. We haven’t found much to go on in the other worlds. Found a few things, but not much. So, here we are in this one now.” Says Phoenix, taking Caleb’s hand. ‘His touch so soft and gentle. His eyes so mesmerizing. His voice so sweet. Why didn’t he call me? Maybe, he just lost the number. I should give it to him again.’ Thought Phoenix. 

Caleb turns his attentions towards the rest of the group. They tell Caleb everything so far that has happened. 

Caleb tells them he has heard of some rumors about missing people, but thought it was just that, rumors. He looks at the picture again just to make sure. 

“Sorry, they don’t look familiar to me.” Says Caleb. 

“Do you know who lives in that house there” Maybe, we can ask them too.” Asks Fornax. 

“I sure do! Matter of fact, I know them extremely well.” Replies Caleb, with a grin on his face. 

“Really? Think they would talk to us? Asks Carafe.

“Sure I will.” Says Caleb, laughing a little. 

“You live there?” Asks Phoenix.

“Yes, with my sister Lilith.” Replied Caleb. 

‘I’m so glad it’s a sister. Gosh, what would I have done if it had been a lover. Even worse, a wife and kids.Then I would never stand a chance. Not, that I really do anyway, but even a small chance is better than none.’ Thought Phoenix. 

Caleb told them of a simetery nearby they could look around and maybe find some clues. He warned them to be careful in these parts. Not all share his enthusiasm for self control. 

“Self control? Asks Fornax.

“Yes, I’m a Vampire. Vampires drink plasma/blood from other life forms. I however, choose to drink plasma packs.The plasma/blood is given voluntarily to the hospitals and put into packs. This way, Vampires have other sources of nourishment other than biting someone. Lately however, the hospitals have been running low. Less people been donating and less cadavers too.” Explains Caleb. 

“Cadavers too?” Asks Fornax

“When someone dies, the hospital prepares the body for burial or cremation. When doing this, they must drain the blood. It helps preserve the bodies until the families can bury/cremate them. Then the hospital will take the blood and put it into packs as well. This is what I usually do for my nourishment. With this shortage now, Vampires are having to rely on biting more. That is why I said be careful.” Says Caleb. 

“What if someone gives you permission to bite them?” Asks Phoenix, winking at Caleb. 

“Only if they give me permission with no strings attached. It would be unfair to give promises I can’t keep.” Replies Caleb. 

“Promises you can’t keep?” Asks Phoenix.

“I don’t want like a thousand lovers you know.” Says Caleb, laughing a little. 

The group of friends laugh too. 

‘You could drink for me anytime. You wouldn’t need a thousand lovers. I would be the only lover you need. There is just something about you Caleb Vatore I must have.’ Thought Phoenix. 

Caleb knew there was something about him too. He could see so deep within his soul. 

The group of friends head to the simetery to look around. 

After a couple of hours checking each headstone and finding no clues, they find relief and comfort in not doing so. They regroup and get ready for their journey to the next world. Will things become more clearer? Will it bring them any closer to the truth? What awaits them?

Mamasquirrel’s Simetics Simedy Short Stories Simlit: Chapter 4 of Series 1 “Luminous” Thanks to all the CC, pose pack , and mod makers that I use in my simlit stories.

World 1: “Willow Creek”

The group of friends reach their first destination. It’s pouring the rain and begins to thunder, they need to decide quickly where to go first to seek shelter before the storm gets worse. 

They decide to go to the Library first. “How about that young lady there? Maybe we should talk to her. What do you think, Carafe?” Asks Vastra. 

“Yes, I think we should start with her. The guys can sleuth around while we talk to her.? Says Carafe. 

“Excuse me, Miss?” Asks Carafe. 

The young lady looks up at Carafe with a flustered look on her face. “Yes?”

 “Hi, uhmm... I’m looking for my missing parents. Have you seen them?” Asks Carefe, as she shows the young lady a picture of her parents.

 “Nope!” Says the young lady, and returns her attention back to the computer. 

With finding no information at the Library, they travel to the Museum. Fornax and Vastra go over any information that they think could be clues.

 “One person said that they look familiar to them. That is good right? That’s a start?” Says Fornax. It at least gives him some hope for now. 

World 2 “Oasis Springs”

They travel to the bar. They talk to the bartender. They explain that they are looking for some missing family. They show the picture to the bartender. 

“I might have seen them. It’s been months ago though. Not sure if it was them.” If you can tell me their blood type, I can tell you how well I know them, if that was them.” Says the bartender, laughing evilly. 

“I think it’s a good idea if we just ask around and then get out of here.” Says Phoenix. Fornax talks to a few people and shows the picture to them.

 “They are not the only people missing you know.” Says the young man.

 “What? What do you mean?” Asks Fornax. 

“There are others missing too. I can’t say more than that. I don’t know who I can trust or is listening.” Replies the young man, as he walks away. 

They need rest and to freshen up a bit. They travel to the gym to get showers and naps before traveling on to the next world. 

World 3: “Windenburg”

The group of friends go to one of the local bars. They talk about what they have learned so far in they journey. Fornax tells them about the other missing people. 

“More missing people? Why are they missing? Is there something in common with these missing people?” Asks Carafe.

 “Now that we have something to go on, that is what we need to find out.” Says Vastra. 

Fornax strikes up a conversation with the bartender. “I was wondering if you could tell me anything about missing people? My parents are missing too and I don’t know where to look for them. Have you seen them? Asks Fornax, as he shows her the picture.

 “Yes, I know something about the missing people. I have a friend that went missing about 5 months ago. Haven’t heard from her since. There was a clue that the police found at her home. Well, they think it’s a clue.” Says the bartender.

 “Really? What was the clue left behind? Maybe, it will help with finding her and all the missing people.

 “It was tape. The kind of tape you would put on a bandage.” Replies the bartender. “Put on a bandage? Asks Fornax. 

 “I had just seen her a few hours earlier. We had went to lunch together. I never saw any injuries that would require bandages, and she never mentioned to me  any injuries either.” Replies the bartender. 

Carafe and Vastra strike up a conversation with a few of the bar’s patrons. 

“We are looking for my missing parents. Have you seen them?” Asks Carafe, as she slides the picture towards them. 

“Can’t say that I have, can’t say that I haven’t.” Probably that invisible pink bunny got’em, like it got into my darn vegetable garden. It made all my carrots and lettuce disappear. Wish I had a way to catch that furry rascal. Kinda be hard though, since it’s invisible you know.” Says the older gentleman. 

Carafe and Vastra both look very puzzled. Not sure how to approach the man’s theory, but the young lady intervenes. 

“What? Invisible pink bunny? Have you been visiting the bubble blower machine again Frankie? How do you know that it’s a pink bunny if it’s invisible? Asks the young lady.

“I saw a pink glow. I heard something in my garden one night. I go outside and I saw a pink glow coming from the garden. It was too dark to see anything else. The next morning, there were carrots and lettuce missing. That’s how know.” It’s probably one of those darn simvernment experiments gone wrong. Made themselves an invisible pink giant bunny that steals.” Exclaimed Frankie. 

“Have you ever seen it again?” Asks Carafe

“Nope, but it still gets into my darn garden.” Replies Frankie.

“Would you mind if we take a look in your garden to see if there are any clues to finding out what it is?” Ask Vastra.

“I told you it’s a invisible pink bunny, but nope, I don’t mind.” Says Frankie.

He gives them the address and they head out to look for Frankie’s invisible pink bunny. 

After searching Frankie’s garden and finding more of this bandage tape and a piece of silver metal, they decide to grab some lunch at the Cafe. 

“Hi there cutie! Could I have one of your recommended specials?” Asks Phoenix, as he winks at the barista. 

The others not expecting this flirtatious banter from Phoenix, just look on in amusement. 

“There are several of my specials that I could recommend, but I think it’s best we stick with the food group special # 2 on the menu.” flirtatiously replies the barista.

“Special # 2 it is then. Maybe, some other time you can tell me about the other specials. Says Phoenix, slipping him a piece of paper with his number on it. 

“Sure thing.” Replies the barista, giving Phoenix a wink. 

Carafe sees two ladies talking. She decides to ask them about her parents and the other missing people.

“All I can tell you is, that my sister who works for the hospital in town has been real secretive about work lately. She use to call me every night after work to gossip. Now, she just says her day was fine. I know something is up. She loves to gossip and be in the drama. So, I know she is hiding something.” Says the older lady. 

“Has she ever mentioned anything, anything at all that could us find these missing people?” Asks Carafe.

“No, she has been completely elusive.” Replies the older lady. 

The group of friends decide it’s time to head to the next world. They have little still to go on, but learned they might be on to something big. What will they find in the next world? Who will be there? Where will the clues lead them?

Mamasquirrel’s Simetics Simedy Short Stories Simlit: Series 1 Chapter 3 “Luminous” A special thanks to Squirrelwithacup for allowing me to use some of her sims in this simlit story. Also, a special thanks to all CC makers, pose pack makers, and mod makers that I use in my simlit stories.

Carafe has decided to keep a journal of their travels, people they meet and any information that she can gather. She hopes that with this, she can get clues or better yet the location of her parents. 

Dear Diary,

It’s 5 am and I haven’t slept but a couple of hours. In a few hours we will begin our journey. I don’t know what to expect or should I even try to have expectations in the first place. I’m not ready for the unknown, but I have to go into the unknown to find answers. I’m scared of what we might find if it’s not what we had hoped for. We could just keep waiting to see if our parents will return at some point, or risk our lives and other lives as well to find them. Although, my mind says wait, my heart tells me to let it be the guiding key. 

What if my heart is wrong? What if we don’t find them? What if we don’t make it? What if they are..?

Her mind keeps racing in thoughts she can’t control. She doesn’t want to think that she will never see her parents again. That she could go back home with nothing, not even her brother. The fear sets in as she ponders more on those thoughts. Carafe closes the journal and heads downstairs to get ready for the trip. 

Log entry,

I still think of you often. I wonder how you are doing. Today, it begins. The truth.....as his thoughts are interrupted by a phone call. 

“Hello? Yes! In a few hours. Yes! I will! I understand! Got it! I will be in touch! Goodbye!” Phoenix hangs up the phone. He puts the phone on vibrate and puts in back into his pocket. 

They decide to go get breakfast at McMucus’ before they depart for their journey. Besides, Fornax couldn’t think of leaving without eating one of those McMucus burgers. Carafe and Fornax also want to thank Amelia for her help and kindness again too just in case. 

Great! Their favorite table is available. Sarai takes their order. Fornax orders his burger with some extra special sauce. “I really need to get the recipe for this sauce from Onyx when we get back.” Exclaimed Fornax. 

They were enjoying the last few minutes they had together joking around, eating good food, and not worrying about the worlds ahead. 

All of a sudden they hear a commotion behind them. Fornax looks over and sees that the floor is wet with some substance. “Oh, no! I hope that isn’t special sauce all over the floor! Quick! Carafe help me get up the sauce with something. I can take it with me on the trip. I can’t let it go to waste.” Cried Fornax. 

Sarai explained to Fornax that this wasn’t Onyx’s special sauce and that he wouldn’t want it. That it came from the young lady over there. “You mean humans can make a special sauce too?” Asked Fornax. Sarai trying to keep her poser and not laugh, explains to him that it’s not a special sauce. “Is she leaking human serum?” Asked Fornax. “No, just pee.” Said Sarai, hysterically laughing. “Fornax, I’ll explain it to you later.” Said Vastra. They pay for their meal and head back home.  

“Wonder why they have frogs?” (No frogs were harmed in this simlit.)

“Okay, let’s go over the checklist to make sure we have everything.” Says, Vastra. 

-medicine (check), extra money (check), picture (check), jet pack(check)

“I think that is everything.” Says Carafe. 

“Let’s double check the jet packs. I want to make sure that they all work just in case we have to make a quick escape.” Says Phoenix. 

“Everything is good. Looks like we are ready. Time to go.” Says Vastra. 

The 4 friends head out to face the worlds together. What will they find? What will they learn? Who can they trust? Who will survive? Will they make it back?

Mamasquirrel’s Simetics Simedy Short Stories Series 1: Chapter 2: “Luminous”

Fornax and Carafe find two Aliens living in the house. Phoenix Mars invites them in and introduces them to Vastra Void. Phoenix and Vastra are very close friends that decided to leave Sixam to see other worlds. Both of them never liked abducting and experimenting on any life form. They both believe in free will. For sure, they’d beam someone up in a spaceship and go for “ride” if that is what both of them wanted. Fornax and Carafe tell them how they ended up here and the reason why. Vastra and Phoenix wants to help them as much as they can. They invite them to live with them and help find their parents. Fornax and Carafe are very grateful for their hospitality and help. 

After Carafe excuses herself from the table, Fornax tells them how hard all of this has been on his sister. He wants to find their parents, but if they can’t or something worse has happened. He doesn’t want to imagine worse. He wants to find his parents safe and well. He just hopes he doesn’t get a surprise visit from “Mr. Death Vador” the soul taker himself in the process of all of this. That would not be good if “The Reaper” paid him a visit. What would he do then? What would Carafe do then? He knows he has to be more careful now. That was a close call when their spaceship crashed. He doesn’t want that close of a call again. He has to find his parents and he has to be there for his sister. 

The next morning, all of them talk about their plans and thoughts on where to go from here. What the plan of action is for looking and finding their parents. They think the best plan of action is to visit each world and look for clues and talk to people. Thankfully, Carafe has a pic of her parents right before they disappeared. Hopefully, someone will recognize them. They decide to get a good nights sleep and leave in the morning. 

“I really hope this goes as planned and that we find our parents. I really miss them. I’m really thankful for Vastra and Phoenix’s help.” Says Carafe.

 “I’m thankful for their help too. I hope we find our parents too and can go back home as a family. We have a long way to go, but no matter what we find or what happens, we need to be safe and don’t give up hope.” Says Fornax. 

The two siblings hug as they prepare for the biggest adventure of their lives. They’re hoping for a happy ending. Will they get it? 

That evening, some friends of Phoenix and Vastra’s invite them over for dinner. They want to spend some time with them before they leave on their trip. They are not sure how long they will be gone or even if they will make it back. So, they want to make sure everyone has fun. 

Everyone has a good time and at least for a moment, Fornax and Carafe can let themselves smile and laugh. They thank Nova, Blaze, and Triton for inviting them over for dinner and for being so kind. They hope that this is not the last time they see them. They really hope that someday, they will meet again and have three more Aliens they can call their friends. 

Fornax is still full of himself and tries to make his sister laugh. Carafe is deep in thought about tomorrow. All she can do is think about is finding her parents. 

Fornax decides to go get ready for bed and then maybe read a book before heading to bed. He tells his sister goodnight and heads off. Carafe just sits there pondering the next move. Wondering if they will find what they seek. She knows that Vastra and Phoenix are taking a big risk going with them. She knows that they are leaving behind their home and friends here to help them. She is thankful for their help, but what if something happens and they don’t make it back. She tries to hold back those thoughts as much as she can, but she knows the reality of the truth. She starts making a list of things she wants to do in each world that might help them find clues, answers, or her parents. 

Phoenix sits in his room watching the sun go down from his window. He knows in a few hours he will be traveling abroad. He thinks about the dangers out in the worlds and the troubles they could have along the way. He’s not 100% sure that he wants to do this, but he must. He must do this. He has to do this. He must.....as his thoughts trail off........Ursa......

Mamasquirrel’s Simetics Simedy: Short Story Series 1: Chapter 1 “Luminous”

Fornax helps his sister Carafe from the wreckage. Something went terribly wrong and they crashed. They have no idea where they are and no way of getting back home to Sixam. “Looks like we both are okay. We need to try and figure out where we are.” Says Fornax. So, they start exploring around looking for any clues of where they are and any life. 

“We have been walking in circles it seems for hours. I’m so exhausted and hungry. We haven’t seen anything but some 4 legged creature. What are we going to do?” Carafe says, uncontrollably crying to her brother. 

Fornax trying to hide that he is crying as well, “Everything will be okay. We will just rest here for the night and start our search again in the morning.” He knows his sister needs him to be strong for her right now. He needs to give her hope. He doesn’t know how they will ever get home, but he will try his best to get them there. They both lay down on the ground and look to the sky because that is where home is and where they want to be. It gives them enough comfort to fall  asleep. 

The next morning they continue on their journey. They hope to find some kind of life form other than the 4 legged creature that kept taking it’s strange looking tentacle out of it’s mouth and wanting to touch them with it. They decide to go a different direction and come up on a structure. They think this could be promising when they see the Tentacle Tom on the building. They go inside to see what this establishment is. 

As they walk in the door they hear a voice saying, “Welcome to McMucus’, How may I help you?” They approach a young lady at the counter. Fornax starts rambling all that had happened to the young lady. “Where are we? Asked Fornax to the young lady. 

 “My name is Amelia. I work here. This is a fast food restaurant especially for Aliens. We serve all kinds of Alien food here. Would you like something to eat? It’s on me.” Says Amelia.  

“We would like that very much. Thank you for your kindness.” Says Fornax. 

“Amelia do you know if there are other Aliens here too? Asks Carafe. 

Amelia tells them she knows several Aliens and that she is friends with a few of them too. Amelia shows them to a table and lets them know she will bring them some food in a few minutes. Then she will give them the information on where to find more Aliens. 

The two talk about what to do next and if these other Aliens that live here on this planet can help them get home. 

Amelia brings them the burger that the restaurant is famous for and some Alien juice. 

They both look at the interesting round shaped food. They both agreed to take a bite at the same time. 

“What did Amelia call this again?” Asked Carafe. 

“A McMucus burger.” Says Fornax. “I think it’s quite tasty. I should ask her how to make these.” Says Fornax. 

Carafe is still not sure what to think of it. 

All Carafe can think about is getting home. She misses Sixam. Even though they don’t have a family to go home to, she still misses all the friends they have. Their parents went missing a year ago. Their mom and dad had went out on a date and never returned. There are very few clues to their disappearance and even fewer to why. Carafe and her brother have been searching for them ever since. This is how they ended here. They had been out searching for their parents and something went wrong with the spaceship and they lost control and it went down and crashed. Thankful, they were not seriously hurt. A little banged up and bruised, but okay. 

Amelia gives them the information on where to find other Aliens as promised and gave them her number and address as well. 

Fornax and Carafe thanks her for her generosity. They set out to find these other Aliens. 

In the meantime, the cook at McMucus’ is adding a special ingredient. What are you adding there Onyx hmmm?

Fornax and Carafe reach a interesting little house. They knock on the door. They hear movement from inside. Both wait with great anticipation to see who comes to the door. Will it be someone who can help them?

Simetics Simedy Simlit: Chapter 25 “Always And Forever” The Final Chapter. Part 5 Author’s note: This chapter may contain sexual content or indications and sensitive subjects.

Alexander and Trever for years have been talking about being human again. They know they would miss their family left here, but Alexander is tired of constantly seeing family and friends die. He’s tired of being a vampire. He wants to know what is next after this life. Trever would never think about living without Alexander. If Alexander decides to be human again, so will he. They talked to their family and everyone understands. Some of them have thought the same thing too and some have their own plans of doing it in the future. Their family and what very few friends they have now completely support their decision. 

They both feel it’s the right time now. With getting word that Samuel is no longer a threat and that Vlad had nothing to do with Ivy’s death. It was Samuel all along and that is why he was on the run for all those years until he died from the sun. He spent his whole life trying to find ways of doing bad things or in hiding, that he didn’t take the time to get his sun resistance and this is what ultimately caused his death. “You ready to do this Trever?” Asks Alexander. “I am.” replies Trever. They give each other one last hug as vampires. 

Trever goes first and drinks the cure. 

Then Alexander drinks the cure. They are both humans now. 

As the years go on, Alexander and Trever spend time with family and do things together. Their granddaughter Trelexa moves in with them when they get to be elders to help take care of them. She loves her grandfathers very much. They love her too. She loves listening to them joke around and the passion they have for each other. She hopes she can have that with someone too someday. 

They are very proud of her and very proud of all of their children and grandchildren. 

“Sending out love to all of you.” Alexander and Trever post to family and friends. 

Alexander and Trever reminisce about their lives together. How much fun they had and how much they love each other. They know their time with each other is short. They don’t want to take one minute for granted. 

The passion and love is still there between them. It has never faltered.They love each other so much. 

Alexander and Trever notice a visitor. Alexander taking Trever’s hands. “You ready.” Asks Alexander. “I’m ready.” Replies Trever. 

They give each other one last hug before Grim takes their souls. 

“Where are we? Did we make it to the netherworld?” Asks Alexander. “Yes, I believe it’s the netherworld.” Says Trever. 

“Smell that fresh air and all the sweet scents of the flowers.” Says Trever. 

“This place is awesome! Let’s look around a bit”. Says Alexander. 

“Welcome home!” Says “The Creator.” “Mamasquirrel, are you the “The Creator?” Asks Trever. “Yes, I am Trever” Replies “The Creator.” “I can’t believe this. This is so wonderful, but why were you in our world? Asks Trever. “As your Creator, I wanted to spread love and kindness to others. I also wanted to watch over you and help prepare you for your journey along the way.” Says “The Creator.” “I am just in awe and those wings are awesome. Do I get a pair of those? Asks Trever. They both laugh. “Hey Alexander, you will never guess who “The Creator” is. Can you believe it’s Mamasquirrel.” Says Trever. 

Alexander in his own little world as he has discovered something while looking around. Half hearing what Trever just said. “Trever, we must be in the ascending netherworld. There is no other place we could be.” Says Alexander.  “What makes you think that Alexander?” Asks Trever. 

“They have carrots Trever. Lots and lots of carrots. My just reward for a job well done.” Says Alexander. 

“I’m one happy man. I made it to the ascending netherworld, I find out that one of my closest friends is “The Creator,” I get to spend forever and always with Trever here in this beautiful place in peace, and I get all the carrots I want.” Says Alexander while shoving more carrots in his mouth and holding a firm grip of a few in his hands.

Simetics Simedy Simlit: Chapter 25 “Always And Forever” The Final Chapter. Part 4 Author’s note: This chapter may contain sexual content or indications and sensitive subjects.

“Hello Samuel and Simonymous”. Good, I see they finally captured you Samuel. I’m glad they did. Now, you can’t hurt anyone else.” Says Mamasquirrel. 

“Mamasquirrel? What are you doing here? Why are you wearing that? Asks Simonymous. 

“I’m wearing this because I have to appear to you like this in the underworld. I’m here to check on you because that is my job as your “Creator”. Says Mamasquirrel. 

Simonymous laughs at the idea of Mamasquirrel being “The Creator”. “Can you believe this. Are you serious. This is so funny. This is a joke right? Asks Simonymous. Simonymous then starts to try and bully “The Creator.”

“The Creator” is not amused at all by Simonymous. 

Simonymous tries to show off and intimidate “The Creator” to show how powerful they think they are. 

“What in the world do you think you are going to accomplish by doing that? You are in max security of the underworld and you have your favorite person as a guardian too.” Asks “The Creator”. “For the horrible things that both of you have done in your life and continue to try and do in this one, I sentence you for eternity in the underworld.” Says “The Creator”. “The Creator” then ascends into the sky with her wings. 

“Are you kidding me right now? You can’t be serious Mamasquirrel. Come back and let’s talk this over.” Asks Samuel. 

“I can’t believe I will have to spend infinity with this nut in the underworld. I think I’m going to be sick. Even my teeth are going to fall out of my mouth from the thought of this.” Thinks Samuel.
