 "No you're not, you've burned yourself! Goodness, you should be more careful."

 She moves over to a cabinet, where she pulls out a clear glass cup, now walking quietly over to the sink to pour a glass of water. After doing so she moves back over to the girl, holding out the glass for her to take.

 "Here, drink this. If you want, I can also get you some ice for your hand." Her voice was calm, even though she was of course worried. This was her daughter, after all.

It took a lot of Kurotsuno reminding herself to remember that, though seldom seen, the woman sitting across from the table also lived here.  During their brief encounters, she would keep her eyes averted and her replies short.  She didn’t even know if she was supposed to refer to Elena by name or…as something else.

As of present, Elena had caught her while she was getting ready to eat.  Kurotsuno kept her eyes on her food, grateful that she wasn’t interrupting her.  Content to ignore her, she took a bite of her food and immediately hissed in pain.

"I’m fine," she said, putting a hand over her mouth as she set down her fork.  "It hasn’t cooled down is all."

 She is sitting at the kitchen table, leaning forward with arms crossed as she watched the other. Her presence probably made the girl uncomfortable, but Elena had not noticed, herself lost in thought. 

 [She certainly looks different now. Nothing like... before. But that's fine! She's my little girl, and it does not matter how she looks. I will love and care for her, even if she wishes for me not to do so.]

 A smile is present on her face, until she suddenly stands up from the table to move over to her darling daughter that has burned herself from the hot bowl of food.

 "Oli- ah, K-Kurotsuno! Are you alright?"

 Goodness gracious this animal just spoke to her. She wasn't expecting that, so of course it had surprised her. It had even caused her to stop petting him for a moment, but soon again she continued, just a bit more slowly as she thought of what to say.

 "... Ah, yes.. I am Sullivan's wife."

He is going to lean into that petting, giving a happy little baa. Sullivan’s a lucky man, if he has a wife that loves to pet cute animals. He’s also just going to casually greet her in return.

"Hello there yourself~! If I’m not mistaken, you are Sullivan’s wife, no~?"

 Is this a.. sheep.? A goat? Ah, well, they're cute either way. And she is going to pet this cute goat... sheep animal behind one of their horns. Ahh, how adorable.

 Before he is able to finish the sentence, she gets on the tip of her toes, wraps her arms around his neck, and pulls him into a hug. She had to pull him down, otherwise she would just be dangling there.

 "You need to stand up for yourself. Though, don't be so harsh. It could... end badly."

Sullivan inhaled slowly before exhaling with a noise that sounded like a mixture of a sigh and a groan, a sound of defeat.

"He’s just been pushing me and pushing me and I-"

"Of course… I will be as careful as possible, if only for your sake." He purrs, leaning down to nuzzle her head with his own. No worries…
