The incredible colors and tile work of this mosque stand out in the natural light of this city. It was commissioned by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the 1630s and built by Wazir Khan, a notable minister of the time. Prior to the mosque being built here, this was the gravesite of a Sufi saint. The mosque now incorporates that grave in the center of the courtyard.
The birds circling the domes over and over again were the most beautiful part of this mosque. 鉂わ笍
