Do Facebook likes really matter?
Not really.
See Facebook is really important for AMEAEY (Australian Male Educators Association Early Years), it makes our mission of supporting, encouraging and representing male teachers so much easier. Through Facebook we can connect to male educators and broadcast how important male educators are.
What really matters is that you encourage people to like our page so they can:
-Sign our online petition
-Receive our updates
-Connect others to our organisation

Letter Writing Campaigns
Hey all,
Much love and prayers. As the first blog for my organisation Australian Male Educators Association Early Years I thought it would be great to highlight the importance of letter writing campaigns.
In this age of social media the power of a simple letter can often go unnoticed. Sending a letter is a simple but effective way of educating your local member about the importance of male educators in the industry. By encouraging others to do the same you give more weight to our cause.
Some general tips:
-Make it personal, a template is great to start with but twenty copies of the same letter loses its voice.
-Keep it simple, we are seeking more recognition and supporting for male educators. We would like the government to consider better avenues of introducing and retaining men in the industry.
