How can a Digital Marketing Nano Degree be related to the parliament?

I was an ordinary university student who focused on his study and participated in only a few student activities in the university like (clubs, groups and societies), but I still love to lead and be a head of a student society, group or a team in the university. I just needed a chance to prove my leadership skills. However, I was well known by students in my college because I interacted with everyone I met and always tried to build new relationships. One day I heard about the student advisory council membership nomination. At that time, the student advisory council was still a new experience which was enrolled in higher education institutes in my country only two years ago. Therefore, not many students cared about nominating themselves to be members of the small university parliament. I decided to nominate myself and give it a shot. Surprisingly, I won the elections and became one of the 17 representatives of around 18 thousand students. Even more surprisingly, I was elected to become the secretary of the council. During my one-year membership in the council, I sat in meetings with ministers, vice chancellors of universities, consultants, members of the Sultanate’s parliament (Shura Council), members of the State Council, ambassadors and many important characters with high positions in the country. On top of all of that, our period as members of the council was the most successful among all student advisory councils in the Gulf. The reason behind that was the teamwork and true belief that we are leaders and we can truly represent 18 thousand students almost the best way possible. With that being said, the experiences that I gained during my one-year membership in the university’s Student Advisory Council gave me a dream to pursue, that is to become the president of the Shura Council (the Sultanate’s parliament) when I grow up. For that reason, I must not be a normal person. I must work on my qualifications for such a position and responsibility. How will I be better president of the council who won’t let down the people who voted for him? How will I be the president of the parliament whose name will never be forgotten because of what accomplishments his council has achieved? That is the reason why I have decided to work on myself and improve every aspect of my personality, but I must not forget the question of how I will get to the council in the first place. I must have presence in the media. I need to properly present myself as the opportunity for people to rise with this country and its government. Therefore, I have decided to move one step towards my dream and take the Digital Marketing Nano Degree program. To market myself.
