my utopia has disability in it. my utopia includes free healthcare and no-questions welfare and state-funded carers. my utopia includes building requirements that centre disabled bodies — ramps and lifts and dimmer switches and braille signs. my utopia has disability in it. because without disability, it’s not much of a utopia at all

Realistically, a household the size of Wayne Manor needs more than just a butler, and while Bruce might imagine he can keep his proclivities secret from his own domestic staff, Alfred certainly harbours no such illusions. I've gotta wonder what the orientation lecture he's worked out looks like. Like, of course they're going to be extensively vetted before they ever set foot on the premises, but at some point during the onboarding process the subject of the Batcave has gotta come up – I just wanna know how Alfred broaches that.

anytime im playing on a TF2 server and i want to throw it into chaos I ask "which merc do you think would make the best husband?" it doesn't matter if the server is filled with straight men. everyone has a very strong opinion on this.

#asked my gf who used to play competitively #she says half of them would probably be good and the other half would probably be awful #apparently she thinks spy would be a good open relationship with quality sex #but heavy or engineer would take care of her

living near the ocean for any period of time inherently makes one a little more at peace with death than the average person, not so much because of a natural quality of the ocean, but because one day an older relative of yours will ask you to "steer the boat" and then not tell you how to work the engine, at which point you're basically placing yourself in the hands of whichever loving god will take you
