❛ DO YOU REALLY DOUBT ME TO WHERE YOU THINK I CAN’T FIX THIS ? ❜ carlos jests with the latter , curvature of crimson petals uplifted as he spoke syllables with a monotonous tone . however , this quickly shifted as dark coins settle upon the rather shambled device . ❛ it does have potential to be repaired , but it’s going to be very time consuming . i’m going to need to borrow your laptop for a few days ------ it could take up to a week at most . . . is that ------ ❜ perplexity colored an array of his countenance as if it was a canvas itself . his attention directed toward a sighting caught from his peripheral vision , some kind of white substance falling from the sky . was auradon broken ?
after a moment of utter confusion , he redirected himself to ben . brows knit as he scratched the back of his cranium , thimble digits encurled into his locks . ❛ LIKE I WAS SAYING , is that fine with you ? you don’t have anything i shouldn’t be looking at do you ? ❜
OF COURSE , carlos was yet again merely attempting to mess with him , dismissively wavering his palm at the previous sentence that dared to rip pass his vocal chords . in fact , his focus now became fully thwarted toward the shattered piece of technology . he scrambles it all together , tucking it underneath his armpit . ( probably wouldn’t be the best place if objects like that had a sense of smell . ) in the same breath of getting his belongings , and ben’s computer , he envisioned the same foreign aspects coming from the sky .
❛ i think auradon is under some kind of siege or attack , or , what in the world is happening out there ? should we be concerned ? ❜ with his free hand , carlos directs the latter to the window , the source of his query being the happenings of what exactly was going on beyond the glass .

COLD winds were sweeping through Auradon but that was the least of Ben’s problems. One completely broken computer had raised his stress levels higher than he thought possible. It wouldn’t have mattered all that much if he didn’t have extremely sensitive and confidential documents stored on the computer that if anyone else got their hands on, it could lead to the biggest scandal in the history of the country. They weren’t anything bad, but it was ideas and information about the Isle and recently, the Isle had been a very touchy subject to the Auradon public. Some of the half-written plans weren’t even serious, they were just ideas to help him think. He would have just bought a new computer but he really didn’t want to lose anything. So he called the one person who he knew that not only could he trust, but who he had a feeling might be able to fix it: Carlos.
Leaning back against the window, hands intertwined nervously, he watches Carlos, hope evident on his features. ❝ so am i completely out of luck or do you think there’s a way to fix it ? ❞ Shiver runs through him and he spares just a moment to glance outside, before moving away from the window. Even with all of the updates it had received, it didn’t change the fact that Auradon Prep had originally been a castle and castles were not easy to heat. The fresh snow falling from the sky and quickly accumulating on the ground was going to have his office feeling like a frozen tundra in no time. He crosses the room, quickly turning on the fireplace and refocusing his gaze on Carlos, ❝ it’s okay if there’s nothing you can do about it ! i just figured i should ask you before i completely give up, because you definitely know much more than me about this kind of thing. ❞
