i'd hesitate to call the tim burton alice in wonderland movie good but the scene where mia wasikowska uses her daily pre-antipsychotics era coping affirmations to slay the Slenderdragon was kind of real as fuck

Let's look at the contestants
Team 1
Bart Allen: In a crowded space like the docks, his new powers are not exactly ideal. I think that he would be able to ride the pegasus and swing the sword, since those are under physical strengths. Overall, a downgrade, but having flight is very helpful.
Slade Wilson: This is the big threat of Team 1. He has magnetic powers, which is already terrifying. Using these powers to their limit, he can basically use a gun but better. Even if he can't, they are in the docks surrounded by steel crates. His intellect combined with the powers and environment easily makes him the biggest threat.
Joker: Definitely scary, but nowhere near as much as Slade. While he is a great combatant in both body and mind now, he just doesn't have much more.
Overall, Team 1 is good, although Slade is carrying the whole team. It is lackluster in terms of teamplay and intelligence, but not enough to be extremely detrimental. What is detrimental is the fact that both Slade and Joker, the best two on the team, are weak to Radion, which will be relevant later.
Team 2
Batman: Easily the most powerful contestant here. Basically all of Batman's strength is purely his intellect, although losing his utility belt is a big loss. Still, he is a speedster now, and combining those two gives you the most horrifying combination possible. The crates have space in them, meaning he can phase through the environment, sneaking behind enemies and avoiding attacks. He was already a quick-thinker, and now that phrase got literal.
Lightray: A downgrade until you consider the enemy team. Firstly, he is terrible in combat, although Lex's mech suit helps make up for that. However, he has access to basically everything in existence, including Radion. This neutralizes the two biggest threats of the enemy, and we can assume that the mech suit can use it as a projectile like how it does with Kryptonite. Not a great fighter, but strategically invaluable.
Mark Moonrider: The worst of Team 2, but still a strong combatant. Flight is nothing to scoff at, and his powers aren't too bad.
Overall, Team 2 is a horrifying threat for anyone and everyone. With all three contestants being at least decent at teamwork, and with Batman to lead, their strategic advantage is quite large, especially considering the power of money. Plus, Batman can help Lightray with that stuff, which only makes it even more terrifying. On top of that, their physical strength is still quite strong, and their powers fit kind of well together.
The Battle: With Slade's magnetic powers, Team 1 would quickly get the upperhand. Decent teamwork could allow them to get an early advantage, but losing that lead will mean losing the fight. The moment that Batman recognizes that Slade and the Joker are weak to Radion, it's over. The only way for Team 1 to win is to take them by surprise, and hope that Lightray's mech suit doesn't have any Radion in it. I would place my bets on Team 2, as they simply have better fighters with more synergistic powers and have better teamwork. Slade is basically the only problem, so really it is his fate that will decide the battle.
The DC Body Swap Brawl
Round 1, Brawl 1
Location: Gotham City Docks
It's nighttime at the docks. Barges stacked with shipping containers rest silently in the water, and tall warehouses wall off the area. Flood lights illuminate where the asphalt ground drops off to the murky water below.

8 free android games with no ads and no in-app purchases
(note for those using screenreaders: all images in this post are screenshots of the game currently under discussion. unfortunately i struggle much more with describing images than with games.)
1. CoffeePack
Tumblr media
you know those addictive little merge-style games that are fun except for being completely overloaded with ads? it's like that, but without the ads. trays of coffee come in three at a time, and you put them into the grid to make full trays of six of the same kind.
you can download CoffeePack here.
2. Fast like a Fox
Tumblr media
this one's a fun little platformer with a unique control method—you make the fox run by tapping the back of your phone! (there is an option to change that to something more normal, though.) true to the name, speed is very important here. you're not on a timer unless you're trying to get the third gem of a level, but the game keeps track of your record times.
you can download Fast like a Fox here.
3. Simon Tatham's Puzzles
Tumblr media
it might not be visually impressive, but there's no funny business here. you came for puzzles, and that's what you're getting. there's a huge number of puzzles included in the app (under different names from their usual, admittedly), and you can customize the difficulty all you want.
you can download Simon Tatham's Puzzles here.
4. Stray Dog: Bone Quest
Tumblr media
this is another puzzle game, but it's more timing based. you need to maneuver the dog around each level to collect all the bones on the ground while avoiding hostile cats and humans.
you can download Stray Dog: Bone Quest here.
5. Unciv
Tumblr media
it's civilization 5 for your phone. i'm sure you know what civilization 5 is.
you can download Unciv here.
6. WordSmith
Tumblr media
word game fans, don't think i've forgotten you! in WordSmith, you're given an assortment of letters that are color coded as starts of words, ends of words, intersections (taking priority over starts and ends), and middles of words, and tasked to put them all into a crossword. there are several difficulty settings, and the timer in the bottom right corner is completely ignorable if you so choose.
you can download WordSmith here.
7. Cobble Climber
Tumblr media
this one's very simple! your character climbs up the wall on the side of the screen, and you tap to have them jump to the other side to avoid rocks. the goal is to see how far you can go!
you can download Cobble Climber here.
8. Curve Quest – Endless Game
Tumblr media
in this game, you control a ball that travels along a line, switching directions whenever you tap the screen. the line starts out straight, but becomes more and more curved over the course of play. you're also under constant bombardment from obstacles you need to protect your ball from, and there are occasional power ups on one end of the line or the other.
you can download Curve Quest – Endless Game here.

“cyberpunk future where you need to make payments on your cybernetics or they get repo’d” is good, but doesn’t go far enough. consider cyberpunk future where the terms of service restrict how you can use your augments and implants — your prosthetic hands physically quake and lock up if you try to use them for things your medical company deems “a risk factor” (which somehow includes protesting the very same biomedical conglomerate), and your eyes automatically blur information that tells you how to improve or update augments yourself. but even surrounded by this much greed, widespread underground communities exist of people helping one another jailbreak their titanium bodies, recapturing the autonomy corporations have methodically stripped away from them.
