Advice for those who want to transition. If you have a planned parenthood in your area PLEASE ASK THEM FIRST FOR AN APPOINTMENT IF YOU CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER.

They literally had me covered and made sure that your percription reason is labled "for gender dysphoria" so it gets covered by your insurance. ALWAYS ASK FOR THIS OR THEY WONT COVER IT.

I got my T perscription on the /first/ appointment and they are completely open to questions unlike other clinics that tell you to make an appointment with your doctor to ask this questions! The staff that answer the phone are trained and can answer so much!

I am currently on T gel at 1 percent. 30 day supply and it was covered. They offer pills, t shots, gel, patches! Whatever you are comfortable with! I suggested the gel and right away it was sent to the pharmacy! PLEASE go to them they don't just handle abortions and womens health. They care. They really do. So many people shit on these PP clinics but they literally helped me within two days.

They may offer aid to trans youths as well. Remember every state is different. Every trans person is different and it may take less then two weeks to get your medicine but they get things done quickly and want to help. Mine did at least.

They take your blood preasure and a blood sample from your finger and may ask for a lab test but I swear to you its worth it.
