Might have tried something that was too big for me with this one. I felt like I was struggling a lot to get it to this point, but ultimately I’m happy with the light in the sky. Not sure about the rest 🙈 I somehow managed to survive this weekend following the plan I set for myself. As you might know I sent a ton of newsletters regarding my shop sale and it’s very taxing mentally to think about good things to say about myself and anything connected to me. Apart from elevated levels of guilt, I quit eating, disassociated, by today I decided to quit sleeping, was shaking like a leaf and had rattling teeth of anxiety. And that’s the price I had to pay for the marketing I had to do in order to move ahead to become a freelancer and not just an enthusiastic hobbyist. I always think it’s much easier for me to ‘be free’, but after this weekend when I got a tiny taste of what it’s like to become a true professional, I’m even more scared than I was before. Yes, I know all this is just useless whining - I just thought it’s best to be clear about how things are. I’m super uninspired at the moment, but I want to draw storybook things… I looked up @promptosaurus to get some help on what to draw. It’s a little bit of an overused scene from me, but I could still make even more without getting bored of it. I drew @searinax 🙃 Well, a while ago, but I was not sure if he looks too girly on this or not so I didn’t dare uploading… then I figured it was the stubble I was missing, and probably the shine in his eyes that makes him girlier… but! Even though with my one month daily posting break in august/September I gave up on the idea of second year project 365, I feel guilty when I don’t draw. Do you know the scene from Life of Pi? I sometimes rewatch that one scene with all the glowing jellyfish and the whale and it looks like he’s fishing for stars in the ocean :) I had a mouth/tooth surgery on Wednesday and today my body decided to step on the break and say stoooop. So I’m in bed.
