hmmm garu’s probably afraid of thunderstorms. yakumo isn’t afraid of them per say, but they do bring back uncomfortable memories of being cold, wet and alone in the cave he called home as a young serpent.

they’ll spend stormy nights together, yakumo reading to garu until he’s no longer afraid, or, if the power were to go out, telling stories about his own childhood, much to garu’s delight. he loves learning about his friends in any way he can, and if that includes story time, that’s even better!

and then they’ll fall asleep together, curled around each other like two peas in a pod ♡

kuya compliments yakumo probably more than he’s ever genuinely complimented someone in his entire life, just because he enjoys watching the serpent squirm and blush under the praise and special attention. to be praised by kuya is nothing to take for granted, after all, especially for a young yokai.

the fox particularly likes making yakumo admit he’s good at something, because while incredibly humble by nature, yakumo is also adverse to arguing, and telling kuya his kind words are misplaced would be the same as telling him he’s wrong, something the timid serpent wouldn’t dare to do.

though, kuya’s satisfied smirk as he watches yakumo flush to the tips of ears while murmuring that he ‘supposes he is pretty good at brewing tea’ says it all: while he does enjoy affectionately tormenting the serpent, he can’t deny it makes him feel almost.. warm, and fuzzy, and other ridiculous nonsense expressions of happiness to see yakumo actually taking pride in his skills and not downplaying his abilities for once.

even if he can’t quite look the other man in the eye while saying these things, the shy but pleased smile that graces yakumo’s features after the self-affirming words leave his lips gives kuya a feeling of satisfaction deeper than the one he normally gets while teasing others.

Writing Ajax/Childe as bi polar is gonna be one of the hardest challenges in this fic I feel

Really want to put more focus on his dialogue to show how sudden or subtle his changes can be.doesn’t help that the other harbingers start to pick on him more and more

Is Cyno's story quest actually good? All I've seen is ship stuff on the timeline and definitely no Sethos which makes me think the lore drop was not as good as some of you guys are saying it is

so i just played through Cyno's story quest it was great, just wanted to share some of the Nahida dialogue that i caught

I honestly feel like these are really important lines and I'm surprised they are locked behind Nahida

this was just funny to me. some haikavehass behaviour tbh (except they were like so chill in this quest they didn't even argue once)
