Was the spider struggling?
Perhaps just a bit as he was trying to figure out this puzzle that Charlie gave him, some nice innocent fun to help him with his redemption or whatever. Problem was, this damn thing had over a thousand pieces, and if that wasn't frustrating enough, there had been a pair of eyes peering at him for quite some time now. Witnessing the poor spider's struggle.
