I have posted before about R owning a pet rat but no, I changed my mind. ENJOLRAS has pet rats, multiple, and he loves them. They are small, unloved by many and considered ugly and a pest but he knows they are resourceful, extremely intelligent, their strength lies in them living together in a community and they are actually extremely loving and caring. Enjolras will explain this when questioned and cradle them in his hands and kiss their little heads and Grantaire won't know if he should read too much into it and their relationship
