because i didn't realize side blogs were not the same as main blogs (i had just dowloaded tumblr just to post bks and was struggling to understand) I am moving to @lincolndjarin !! this way i'll be better able to interact with y'all, im very sorry for this inconvenience but all future chapters will be posted to the new blog. i still haven't decided if I'm going to completely repost everything there or if I'm going to just reblog it but if anyone has advice it would be appreciated. thanks again for understanding and i'm sorry this happened in the first place

okay im not sure but the issue with my posts not showing up in peoples feeds might be because this is a side blog. when i started posting bks i didnt realize side blogs werent the same as main blogs. soooo that might have something to do with the issue. that being said. i also cant reply to people which makes me sad. so im at a bit of a cross roads regarding if i should make a new main blog and reupload everything there? do i delete the current ones? do i just cope with this lmao? do i make a new one and pick up from chapter 21 and just reblog all past works? i would love some insight genuinely on what to do. im still sort of new to tumblr so idk what to do also like how will that work with my masterlist and stuff?? im super confused rn

okay so bks chapter 21 is incoming but i have several questions regarding my next fic for immediately afterwards because im doing a bit of planning ahead and i’d love to get a little feedback before i start properly laying out the story.

so the next fic after bks is gonna be the phantom of the opera au and this one will be a mini series?? idk if thats the correct term but it will be probably few chapters that will just be long as balls. anyways heres a google form bc i cant put more then one poll on here. if you fill it out i will give you a little prize at the end (ill write you a smut blurb) >:) thanks thats all !!

i listen to A LOT of music. i work in a warehouse so i do a lot of forklifting around and running machines, i also work 10 hour shifts so i spend pretty much all 10 hours listening to music. i was listening to stuff, (specifically, Skyfall - Adele, Take Me to Church - Simply Three, and The Killing Kind - Marianas Trench) and i wrote out the ending of this story in my head listening to those before i wrote anything else. i fell in love with this ending and wanted to write the rest of the story. i started writing right as i was watching queen charlotte, early on when i was having trouble characterizing the reader she was heavily based on charlotte. i also knew early on that i wanted a sort of bridgerton-esque tension and also confession.

the name of the story is from the song best kept secret from bare a pop opera!! that song has nothing to do with this fic honestly, completely different situations lmao but my best friend was in bare and when i was having trouble coming up with a name for a fic i realized the name was fitting, the chapter portrait of a man is also named after a bare song portrait of a girl !!
