Oil or Gas and why?
There are still plenty of households that make use of oil as fuel. But for someone who is moving home or shifting to rural living or just living off the grid, gas cylinders are a better option to switch to. Shifting to LPG or biogas cylinders is the right choice no matter the circumstances.
Lets understand why shifting from oil to gas is a good idea for the long run :
1. Sustainable fuel
Burning oil gives out a lot of carbon emissions which has an adverse impact on the environment. Switching to gas reduces the carbon emissions by up to 16%. Using Biogas is another option that reduces the effect on the environment further.
2. Versatile
While oil can only be used for central heating systems, LPG can be used for a number of things – cooking, heating and anything else that you require. LPG also allows you to heat water or a swimming pool, as per your requirement.
3. Low maintenance
Although it is important to keep your gas cylinder in top condition, the maintenance cost and amount of work involved is close to nothing. With oil boilers, you need to keep checking its working every now and then. But with LPG cylinders you just need to install well and leave it to itself.
4. Installation
Installing oil boilers is a tedious and expensive task. It’s a long procedure that has to be followed to the T. With LPG cylinders the installation is extremely easy and can be auto ordered when its about to get over.
Whether you are attempting to reduce carbon emissions or simply reduce your work and expense, the right decision is to switch from oil as a fuel to a more sustainable fuel, such as LPG cylinders which is a comparatively better option. Visit us for gas cylinder for bbq

Gas bottle storage cage
Almost every workplace makes use of gas cylinders. When you know your usage, you tend to buy these cylinders in bulk and store them. But if not stored right, these cylinders may pose major threat to all the workers present there. The size of the cylinder and the gas inside it plays a major role in the amount of risk involved.
It is important to know how to correctly store your gas cylinders :
The cylinder must be stored in an upright position with chains to keep them secure.
They should be stored away from anything that might cause a fire.
They must be stored separately as per the type of gas involved and must be labelled so.
Last but most importantly, they should be stored in a well ventilated area, in upright cages. In the cages, these cylinders are secured shut unless actually being used. The protector cap must be secured over the valve. Gas cylinders with customised cages to keep the cylinder in an upright secured position are available. These cages must be kept outside where the ventilation is good and away from anything that can impose major threats or start a fire. The cage should also be away from the sun and away from where people are continuously walking up and down. Cylinders that are empty must be labelled and kept separately from those that are full. Keeping excess cylinders is understandable but make sure they are not too many that you may not be able to store or handle, which will impose a greater threat to all that are working there. How does bad Cellar Gas affect the Quality of Your Drinks?
Cellar gas is extremely important for the taste of the beverage or beer. Carbonate and nitrogen have to be infused into the drink externally in order to get the desired taste. Over carbonating or under carbonating the beverage will ruin the taste of the beer. The gas being bad also affects the life of the beverage along with the taste. If the beverage, beer or wine are bad in taste, it may immensely affect the business of the curator.
The beverage may lose its life because of bad cellar gas. Which means if not consumed in time, it will become stale and will have to be thrown causing a lot of wastage. Apart from that it also changes the taste of the drink. Once the taste is different, it is also considered stale. Bad cellar gas also changes the look of the beverage / drink. If the look or appearance of the drink changes, it becomes absolutely unappealing and considered non consumable.
Most of these drinks and beverages may be rejected due to all these reasons, eventually forming from using bad cellar gas. Your company reputation will be at stake and you may or may not be able to survive in the business. To conclude, if you want to remain in the business you may want to spend time and money in curating the right quality cellar gas along with the ingredients of the beverage. With bad quality drinks, you may face a lot of rejection and losses. Hence finding the right source is always important so as to maintain the quality of your drinks.

Benefits of Propane as Bbq Gas
Propane and Butane are the choice of gases used for most of the gas fired appliances. Butane gas comes in a blue cylinder whereas propane gas in red cylinders. Butane is mainly used for camping, single burner appliances as also indoor portable heaters. Butane tends to be a little cheaper as compared to propane.
Propane is used for commercial heating and for large appliances. Propane is the ideal choice of gas if you’re using your BBQ or appliance in very cold temperatures. However both the gases can be used on a BBQ and propane and butane both come with certain benefits.
Here are some of the benefits of Propane Gas
·        Propane can be used all year round as its boiling temperature is -42ºc. So if you are amongst those who enjoy their BBQ even during the depths of winter, propane will keep you going
·        Propane burns instantly and efficiently. It reaches its maximum heat output quickly. So for quick, convenient and easy cooking propane it is.
·        These BBQs are easy to clean as it provides a cleaner burn than most of the other BBQ alternatives. All you need to do is wipe down the grill and you are all set to use your BBQ again.
·        A debatable yet positively argued benefit of using propane is the taste. There are those who argue that food cooked on propane BBQs tastes slightly better than on butane-fuelled ones. Thought that's your personal discretion.
These are some of the benefits of using propane gas for BBQs. The 13 kg propane gas bottle is usually used for BBQ and other such appliances. Four Seasons Fuels takes care of all your fuel requirements. Visit us for more details.

Camping Gas Cylinders
New to camping? Here is a quick bit about gas cylinders for you so that you can tick it off your to do prep list.
Camping gas is available in two types of gas cylinders. You have the red one with propane and blue with butane. If you are going camping or caravanning, these are your best bets for all your gas-fired equipment.
Now which one to go for? Propane or Butane?
The choice more or less depends on the climatic conditions of the place that you plan to travel to. Butane condenses at lower temperature hence isn’t the best choice for colder regions. At lower temperatures, its flow can get restricted.
However, Butane burns cleaner and is also less toxic. Portability wise, these are better as the cylinders are generally lighter and well suited for a camping trip.
Propane comes in handy all year round, but butane is preferable except in places where the temperatures drop down to freezing levels.
Propane and butane gas cylinders are available in different sizes. You have the 9kg, 13kg, 17kg, gas bottles etc for different uses. Each bottle is colour coded for ease of choice. Have a look at our website for the options and their suitability. Get in touch with us for more information on gas bottles and the connection devices for these to make your camping trip easier.
