Also adding onto this, last June Ashnikko (as in “Me and your girlfriend playing dress up at my house” Ashnikko) posted on Instagram about her experience growing up in the Bible Belt and Christians started whining about unfollowing her because they “didn’t know she supported sin”

As if two years prior she didn’t release a song explicitly talking about what she does with people’s girlfriends

I once saw a Steven universe fan complain in the comment section of an Instagram post by Toei celebrating the show’s anniversary that if it was released in the modern day they’d “make everyone gay” and saying that Steven Universe of all shows was better because it doesn’t.

My brother in Hylia, did we watch the same Sailor Moon? They’re all at least a little bisexual already. But also how are you going to be a Steven universe fan and complain about LGBT+ rep in cartoons. Have you seen the show? The show where one of the protagonist’s found family moms is literally a lesbian couple turned into one person?
