a/n: clingy soft heeseung is my weakness

“i’ve told you countless times before. you don’t have to be so hard on yourself, heeseung,”

with his government name slipping out of your tongue, he knew that you were serious about this. heeseung couldn’t help but feel a wave of guilt wash over him.

he knew how worried you got recently with the competition coming next month. heeseung had been practicing so hard. you can’t deny that, of course, you admired his hard work. after all, he’s the captain of the basketball team and with all the pressure on his back, he felt like he needed to improve himself for the sake of the team.

today you came to visit him at his practise. it was supposed to be a surprise visit but instead you found him sitting on the ground, spraying some kind of thing you believe was a muscle pain relief spray around his leg with a visible frown plastered on his face—which led to your situation now.

“how many hours have you been practising today?” you asked softly. heeseung sat on the ground beside you but you couldn’t bring your head up to face him.

heeseung smiled sheepishly. a visible exhaustion glued onto his face. he’s been practising so hard to the point that he’s losing track of time. “i don’t know.. but i’ve been here since morning,”

“you really are very stubborn…” you muttered quietly as you give him a rather strong glare. heeseung let out a sigh.

“okay okay i’m sorry! i’ll be resting now, is that what you want?” he threw both of his hands to the air between his face. he scooted closer to your side and grabbed your arm, giving you his best puppy eyes and pouty lips. “don’t get mad at me, please..”

now. how can you get mad at that. the sparks on his eyes almost lost its light with the visible dark circles under his eyes. your heart is broken. you can’t stand seeing him being so hard on himself like this anymore.

“i’m not mad at you..” you let out in a small voice, loud enough only for him to hear. “i just care for you, alright? i don’t want you to get hurt, my heart is aching seeing you in pain,” you confessed silently as you held his face in your palms, caressing softly.

heeseung could feel his tummy doing a whole backflip with the words coming from your lips. a tinted blush on his cheeks appeared along with his small smile. gosh just how lucky he is to have someone as amazing and perfect as you?

“thank you, angel. i love you,” he whispered and kissed your cheek softly. he wrapped his arms around your body, hiding his face in the crook of your neck.

“i love you more. come back here when your body have enough rest and ready to practise again,”

heeseung nodded, his face still in your neck and you smiled, feeling his pouty lips against your skin. your boyfriend can be pretty cute without his own knowing too sometimes.

summary: your picnic date with jungwon was cancelled because of the rain and you were (adorably) sulking.

you watched closely as the droplets of the rain fell slowly on the window. on normal days, you would appreciate the calmness and the comfort rainy days bring you but today though, you were a little sad. two days ago, you and jungwon had planned on having a picnic date around the park and it’s supposedly be done today but because you had horrible luck with the weather, it's been raining since the morning.

jungwon on the other hand, tried his best to make this up for the two of you. he knew how excited you were when you talked about wanting to bring maeumi along with the two of you. he knew how sad you got when everything was not going as you planned. not to mention that it’s been a while since you both spend some time together outdoors.

right now, the both of you were cuddling on your bed with your head resting on his chest. slowly, he’s caressing your hair and every once in a while, he’ll leave kisses on your face. jungwon smiled to himself when he picked a strand of your hair and put it under your ear. he thought it was so cute of you that you were sulking because of the rainy day.

“you know, maybe we can watch a movie,” he said, breaking the comfortable silence. “or we can bake some cookies. anything you like, baby,”

“not in the mood to.” you said against his chest and even without looking at your face, he knew that you were pouting. “i just want to be close with you now.”

a small smile appeared on his face. “well, if that’s what you want then i would never leave your side.” jungwon’s fingers touched your chin and he brought it to face him. he smiled because he was right, you were pouting all along and he didn’t miss the chance to kiss the pout away.

“it’s okay, hmm? we can go whenever it’s not raining. plus this rainy day is just so perfect to be close with each other and get all cuddly, don’t you think?” his soft hands caressed your cheeks. your heart beats a little faster. he always knew what to say. he always knew how to make you feel better. you gave him a smile and left a quick peck on his lips.

“yeah, i agree,”

and so the two of you spend the whole day on the bed cuddling under the warm blanket, whispering sweet nothings into each other’s ears and feeling each other’s skin. maybe the rain wasn’t that bad, afterall.

summary: jungwon coming home late at night after practice, finding you already fast asleep.

dropping his backpack on the ground, jungwon tiredly dragged his feet to the living room. his eyes immediately detected you sleeping on the couch, and his heart swelled at the thought of you staying up and waiting for him to come home but eventually falling asleep.

jungwon walked to the couch and leaned forward, admiring your sleepy state. a small smile appearing on his lips. although today's practice had been rough and hard for him, seeing your peaceful face makes everything feels better for jungwon. you always did.

that smooch, by the way, wake you slightly up. “won?” you mumbled as you saw him pulling his freshly washed white shirt through his head. he heard you and immediately slipped himself under the blanket with you when he saw you were awake.

not wanting to wake you up, he slowly slipped his strong hands under your torso and knees as he carried you to your shared bedroom. holding you carefully as if you were made of glass, he laid your body on your side of your shared bed and wrapped the blanket on you. jungwon smiled to himself when you let out a soft groan, eyes still closing. he leaned forward and leave a quick kiss on your forehead before he went and get ready for bed.

“hi, angel,” he said as he pulled you close to his embrace and wrapped his arms around your body. you smiled hearing his warm voice that you had been longing to hear the whole day.

looking up to him, you kissed his jawline. “i’ve missed you,” you confessed, still feeling a little sleepy.

jungwon let out a small chuckle. “i missed you too, i’m sorry for making you waited for me. you know you don’t have to, right?” he caressed your arms and you swear you could melt right there and then just from the sweetness of his words and the softness of his touch on your skin.

“i know, but i still want to,”

“but you always ended up falling asleep before i come back though,” he let out a small laugh. at this moment you had no energy left to play fight with him so you just laughed it off as well because hey, he’s not entirely wrong.

“i promise to come back early next time,” he said as he caressed your cheek. you smiled at his gesture. “so we could spend more time together.”

“promise?” you asked looking into his eyes.

“promise.” he whispered as he leaned in and connect his lips with yours together. you smiled slightly into the kiss, feeling every part of him on you before you both pulled away. “goodnight, baby.”

“goodnight, won.”
