Beauty in the Winter

The cold moves through the air crisp but cleansing. The trees slumber. Snow falls. Under the surface the seeds from autumn wait in the darkness of the soil for their chance to meet the sun and grow up like their kin that cradle them in strong roots.

Although we’ve gone through many seasons in the time that we have all been in this pause, it’s felt like a long winter waiting for spring. I do believe spring will be coming soon. Not only as the season but for the world. The sun will shine, the snow will melt and we will all break through the earth and feel the rays warm our skin once again. While we wait for spring I truly do hope we can all find beauty in the winter.
