what really fucking bothers me in conversations about racism and saying that some work has racist elements people always counter with "I don't think the author had deliberate racist ideology in mind" cause it's like that doesn't fucking matter. it doesn't have to be deliberate to be racist. most people don't go hee hee hoo hoo I'm gonna put racist things in this. everyone was raised in a racist society and covert racism exists and yes needs to be examined in ourselves and everywhere and yes even in works you like author "deliberate" intent or no

btw noah schnapp’s apology was definitely not genuine (and most likely scripted by PR) and only came out once stranger things season 5 production was being promoted. many companies are being boycotted and if you take a look at starbucks or heck, even the stranger things social media, many, many people are calling for boycotts in favor of palestine.

so let me be clear, noah schnapp’s apology is just a calculated move to prevent the boycott of stranger things. and let’s not forget the other raging zionists on the crew such as the writer and brett gelman. zionists like noah & brett have spread so much racism & hatred against palestinians and do not deserve any forgiveness.

anyway when season 5 comes out, be sure to boycott!

Love that the headline is "THEY RECEIVED OVER 100 CONPLAINTS," but leave out that that 144 is out of 7.6 million viewers.

I didn't know 0.00189% of an audience complaining was worthy of an entire article.

Kinda perfect microcosm of the entire "trans debate." There's an extremely loud very small minority of people that hate trans people while the vast majority are either ambivalent or supportive, but the headlines and media coverage go to the very small minority of transphobes.
